"Family Member Neglect and Poor Conditions at Assisted Living Home"
My grandma had a fall and injured her back. The staff at that place didn't provide any help. Plus, they even gave her stuff like pasta and pizza to eat, even though she had diabetes. When I finally managed to move her out, she was covered in bedsores. She also had shingles, lost 40 pounds and no one ever told me any of this. They didn't even bother changing her sheets. When I got her out of there, she was so weak that she died after 3 weeks. On top of all this, they even asked for the next month's rent. I couldn't suggest this place to anyone. Honestly, I can't believe they're still running.

"Unreliable Care and False Accusations at Randall Residence"
Terrible Experience: False Claims and Neglect at Randall Residence" If I had the choice, I wouldn't give them any stars at all! Their preferred method of getting rid of residents who don't fit the 'Randall Residence Standard' is simply neglect. And what exactly is this standard? They either over-medicate or, as in my father's case, refuse to give the necessary medication. My father was admitted to Randall Residence following a protracted hospital stay. We were honest about his condition and expected care needs. Randall Residence carried out two separate admission evaluations before accepting him, and everything seemed fine. He moved in and was well cared for during his first week — he even enjoyed his stay and the caregivers were quite nice. However, in the weeks following, we received numerous calls requesting our assistance with various situations. Here are some "incidents" they reported: my father allegedly throwing chairs, which we know didn't happen, they claim they were unable to change him, he supposedly threw a glass, stole food, menaced somebody with a fork, and brandished a fire extinguisher. These claims were all false.

"Disappointed with Randall Residence's Lack of Communication"
I visited Randall Residence for a tour and they totally blew me off. They kept discussing how much assistance my dad would need, and I think they just didn't want the hassle. All they needed to do was to give me a call to say no. I was really let down by how they managed everything.

"Clean, well-cared for, suitable for smaller living spaces."
I toured Randall Residence of Auburn Hills. It was clean, well-cared for. Good for those needing smaller living spaces.

"Incompetent Staff and Poor Service at Assisted Living Facility"
My recommendation would be to steer clear of this assisted living facility unless you don't value your relative's health or life. The staff here don't possess the necessary expertise, and they utterly fail in providing adequate care for the type of patients they admit. They also tend to withhold crucial information. Notably, there's no nurse in-house to keep an eye on the patients and we never had a meeting with a doctor. To top it all off, the folks working in the finance division are quite impolite.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place worked well for us; staff was helpful and friendly. The shower schedule was limited to two days a week, which could improve. Food was decent, better than other places. Staff helped with mealtime. Lots of activities for residents daily.

"Caring Atmosphere and Good Value, but Community Feels Worn"
We picked this place for two main reasons: first, they seem really caring and friendly, not too corporate, and it's a very relaxed environment. Second, the price is good for the value. While it's clean, the community does feel a bit worn out.

"Better Food and Friendly Staff, but Communication Can Be Hard"
Because of covid rules, we haven’t been able to see inside the facility, but they just started letting us visit outdoors. The food is much better here compared to our loved one’s previous place, and we can see she’s gaining weight. She seems to be doing well and really likes the staff when we call to chat. They recently got a new leader, so it can be a bit hard to reach the executive director sometimes. But overall, everyone is very polite and they usually respond to our questions quickly.

"Great care and updates; no resident cases, highly recommended"
We've talked with a lot of the staff on the phone and through video calls, and they've all been really positive. They've managed the COVID situation very well and keep us updated every week. Some staff members did test positive, but none of the residents did. Our loved one seems happy here, and we would suggest this place to others.

"Clunky Visitation Rules at Assisted Living Diminish Morale"
We've been attempting to visit our grandma, but this facility insists on scheduling appointments even for window visits. They told us she can only receive "visits", including phone calls, once a week. They've limited activities because of COVID-19, which makes sense. But, they should be promoting window visits and phone calls to lift the spirits of residents during this challenging period.

"Caring staff, good food, and nice layout."
The staff cares about the residents. They only had one nurse. The food was good. The room sizes were okay. The community layout was good. The common area is right at the entrance. There is outdoor space for residents in the back.
