"Misleading Information and Limited Amenities Disappointing Experience"
Ask more questions next time. Everything seemed included at first, but after the closing, I discovered otherwise. We were told I could access restaurants, bus transport to stores like Target and Walmart, and two salons. However, I'm not eligible because I don't have a meal package. They made it seem like I could still go if I paid, which would have been okay occasionally. But now, I can only get rides if invited by another resident. Plus, one salon in my section is closed.

"Disappointed with Amenities and Services at Assisted Living Facility"
My apartment is nice, but there aren't enough workers. Only one person was helpful. I can only eat at the café, not the restaurants. No grocery shopping trips either, which I was promised. I chose this place for its amenities since I can't drive, but I'm not as happy as I expected. There's only one busy salon, maintenance is slow, and everything costs more than I thought. It's not what they promised when I signed up.

"Negligent Service and Unresolved Refund at Allegria Assisted Living"
My uncle lived in an assisted living apartment until he passed away. This place, Allegria, took over sometime when my uncle was there. From the beginning, we knew my uncle's health was declining. When we signed the agreement, we were promised that he could stay in his apartment comfortably until the end. However, when he was no longer able to walk to the dining room, we had issues when trying to order meals for delivery. Often, there wasn’t anyone to pick up the phone. Because of this, we had to leave work multiple times to bring him food since by the time we were able to get a hold of someone, we were told we’d missed the time slot for meal orders. Even though my uncle passed away over a year ago, Allegria still hasn’t refunded his deposit. At first, they said that there was no individual assigned to receive the funds. When we showed them our copy of the lease, the billing manager stated she was waiting for word from the head finance person. We’ve been waiting over eight months for this!

"Devastating Experience at Assisted Living, Grandma Neglected and Staff Unhelpful"
I feel really upset and heartbroken when I recall what happened at this terrible place. My grandma, who's 81 years old, wasn't allowed to get up for more than a full day because they didn't evaluate her. She'd just had her second hip surgery within a month, and using a bedpan was difficult for her. The staff there was extremely mean, they wouldn't let her use a bedside toilet because she hadn't been evaluated. They even denied her an evaluation because we were going to get her discharged that day. They kept saying they wouldn't help because her insurance wouldn't cover it. Even after all this, they had her stay there for another three hours. Except for one person, nobody on the staff was understanding or caring. The head nurse and the rehab director were really horrible. I still feel unwell when I think about what we all went through, especially my grandma. I still feel like crying, even a day later. Plus, the rehab area was crawling with ants.

"Mixed Experience with Food and Services at Assisted Living Facility"
The food situation has been challenging. Complaints made since January have gone unanswered. The food is too salty and overcooked. Patrons now serve themselves, causing contamination concerns and frequent food shortages. Requests for alternatives are often denied, citing kitchen closures. The Windows Café offers better food, but the long wait times are difficult for Mom, who uses a walker. She misses socializing with friends there. The staff, especially the young men, seem more like watchers than workers. The friendly girls, though reduced in number, show care. Some days lack essentials like coffee or soda due to empty dispensers. Despite issues, there's usually juice, though cranberry ran out once. Mom's account isn't credited for inedible meals. While recent food improvements are noted, Mom's weight loss remains concerning since moving in December. Food issues seem persistent, but Mom fears repercussions if she complains more. The living space is spacious, with thorough cleaning and repairs. Mom appreciates having a personal housekeeper. There are numerous hobbies available, but Mom prefers clinic, church, bank, and library visits. She values the affordable scooter option offered. However, staff at the front desk struggle to provide detailed information on resident concerns.

"Knowledgeable Guide, Outdated Facility, High Deposit"
I visited this place. The tour was nice and the person showing us around knew a lot. But the building seemed old and we didn’t like that we had to pay a lot of money upfront. It made us decide not to choose it.
