"Assisted living staff helpful, but parking needs fixing, rent increased."
The staff has been really helpful, especially with housekeeping, which she enjoys. However, the parking lot has a lot of big potholes that need fixing. Also, they've raised the rent quite a bit in the short time she's been there.

"Friendly Staff but Slow Repairs and Pothole-Riddled Road"
The staff is really friendly and helpful, but repairs take a while. The road to the back buildings has lots of potholes. Other than that, we're very happy.

"Friendly staff, good place, minor delays during onboarding"
The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. They could be a bit faster when getting new residents set up, but they're always ready to help with any repairs. I would definitely suggest Holt Heritage Village to others.

"Senior Living Facility Review"
This place is meant for independent living, but it feels like assisted living. My family member has been here a while, but it's hard to make friends because they make you sit alone at meals and wear masks. They separate residents based on their COVID beliefs. Overall, it's been a letdown.

"Not quite what we needed"
Holt Heritage Village had nice apartments but not so clean. When we visited, staff didn't interact much with residents. We picked a different place.

"Spacious Grounds, Nice Apartments, Missing Outdoor Area in Facility"
"Lots of great things here! The biggest drawback was the lack of a designated outdoor area besides the entrance ways. The grounds are spacious. Maybe when the weather warms up, it will feel different. The apartments were a nice size, and the staff was super!"

"Spacious Grounds and Friendly Staff!"
Wow, lots of good stuff here! The only downside was no outdoor area except at the entrances. The grounds are big, and maybe when it gets warmer, it'll feel different. Apartments were a good size, and the staff was awesome!

"Struggling with Maintenance; Limited Diabetic Menu"
I've been living here for nearly two months now and I am still waiting for the maintenance crew to fix our initial move-in issues. Paint isn't finished, curtains are missing, and there's some lock problems. Additionally, the food being served lacks diabetic food choices, other than sugar-free pudding.

"Maintenance Team Fails to Meet Expectations at Assisted Living Facility"
The team at the complex was good. Krista was great. But then, the Eyde Maintenance team disappointed me. Mom was staying with me when they were supposed to fix things in her apartment. They left the toilet seat up and made a mess. The work they did was not good quality. They put in a fridge with taped shelves and a missing door shelf. They even put a black handle on a white fridge. They installed the fridge handle on the wrong side, so now a kitchen drawer can't open. The paint job was not good either. When I told them a blind handle was missing, they just took one from another blind in the same room. They spilled paint on the brand new carpet. And to top it off, they changed the thermostat settings without asking, which ended up costing my mom more on her utility bill. I used to be happy with Heritage until the Eyde maintenance team messed things up.

"Heritage Review: Poor Maintenance Ruins Otherwise Pleasant Experience"
My experience with the staff at the assisted living complex was overall pretty good. Krista is a particularly exceptional team member. However, my interactions with the Eyde Maintenance team were frustrating, to say the least. During a stay at my house, the team had to make some repairs in my mom's apartment. Some of the men used her bathroom, left the seat up, and left urine on the toilet bowl. This was disgustingly disrespectful. The quality of their work was less than impressive. They installed a refrigerator with shelves taped in place and even a door shelf missing. A black handle was installed on a white refrigerator, creating a mismatched look. The handle was even placed on the wrong side of the refrigerator, preventing us from opening the nearby kitchen drawer. Their paintwork was a letdown too. I reported a missing blind handle, but instead of properly fixing it, they just took a handle from another blind in the same room. Paint spills were left on the brand new carpet. Adding insult to injury, they had the gall to change the thermostat from 78 degrees to 73 degrees and leave it like that, raising my mom's utility bill. Unfortunately, my positive opinion of Heritage was marred by these poor experiences with the Eyde maintenance crew.

"Perfect Place for My Parents"
We chose this place for my parents. They used to live in an apartment on the top floor of a pole barn at my brother’s house. There were too many steps. This place is perfect for them. The apartments are being renovated and look really nice. The activities seem fun and interesting for them. I like how the buildings are all connected, so it’s easy to walk around even when the weather is bad. Everyone is very kind and helpful. We are very happy with our choice. Thank you, Holt Heritage Village, for providing this for the elderly.

"Great choice for easy living and fun activities"
We chose this place for my parents after they lived in a top-floor apartment in my brother’s pole barn, which had too many stairs. This new place is perfect for them. The apartments are being updated and look really nice. There are lots of fun activities, and the buildings are all connected, so they can walk easily even in bad weather. Everyone here is very kind and helpful. We’re really happy with our choice. Thank you, Holt Heritage Village, for providing a great place for the elderly.
