"Disrespectful Staff and Owner at Assisted Living Facility"
I went to visit my uncle at this assisted living place, but we've since moved him away. I was really upset to see how rude the staff and owner were. The owner asked my uncle, right in front of me, if he was happy there and if the nurses were nice to him. What was he supposed to say, knowing he was stuck there? And why did she even ask him that when I first got there? It was so weird and uncomfortable. The owner made me feel super unwelcome and talked down to me like I didn't get what my uncle was going through. I had to speak up and ask if I could just see my uncle. Right before I left, I heard one of the nurses yelling at this older woman to get back to her room 'cause it wasn't snack time yet. The poor woman looked really scared. I wish I had stepped in. I can't get it out of my mind. I'm writing this review hoping somebody will keep an eye on them and fix these problems. All people, no matter how sick they are, should be treated with respect.

"Unprofessional Assisted Living Facility Breaches Covid Guidelines, Overcrowds Residents"
The person who now owns this home, whose name has been omitted for anonymity, doesn't uphold the same standards as their predecessor. This owner blatantly disregards Covid-19 safety rules. Because of this, three elderly women have tragically lost their lives and an employee is in a coma from a drug-related issue, allegedly tied to Covid. Eventually, minimal protective measures were taken, involving plastic sheeting installed by her son-in-law. Despite being licensed for only six residents, this owner squeezes in 7 at least. She's been known to shuttle residents, from her other facilities, into this West Bloomfield location. Shockingly, one of these residents has to sleep on the ground due to habitual falls from bed – I’m left wondering why haven't any bedrails were provided? Furthermore, the cleanliness of the home lacks professional attention. More new occupants are moved in, without deeply sanitizing the facility beforehand. I can't help but wonder, is this a financial gain situation for the owner? Please be extra careful when considering this place for your loved ones. I strongly advise against allowing any relatives to stay here, or at any other homes managed by this owner. In all my encounters, I’ve never come across anyone quite like her. Her demeanor and communication style reminds me of a playground bully. I could express more of my grievances, but I need to check on another resident now, who happens to be my mom. She's in the hospital for the third time since an omitted date.

"Decent Place, Too Expensive for Me"
This place is okay, but I decided not to choose it because it costs $4000 a month plus a $1500 non-refundable move-in fee.

"Limited Privacy in Small Shared Rooms"
This assisted living facility has one story with three private and two shared rooms. Unfortunately, there are no private baths, and private rooms are not available. The staff consists of two people who work 24/7. The shared rooms are very small and resemble workstations without windows or privacy.

"Limited privacy, small shared rooms, few amenities, adequate staffing."
This place has only one floor with 3 rooms just for one person and 2 rooms for two people to share. But there aren't any rooms just for one person with their own bathroom. Also, it seems like there aren't any private rooms available. They have 2 people working all the time, which is good. But the rooms that people share are really tiny. They kind of look like cubicles you'd find in an office and there aren't any windows, so there's not much privacy.
