"Quiet, Cozy Assisted Living with Long-Term Staff"

This place is so peaceful and cozy with trees around. The staff has been here a long time. The floors look nice without carpets, but they don’t reduce noise.

"Wonderful care and a loving staff make Prestige Pines feel like home"

My mom has lived at Prestige Pines for three years, and I'm really happy with the care she gets. My family and I feel like the staff truly love my mom and understand her. She’s always having fun when I visit. Whenever you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile. I’m proud to call Prestige Pines my mom's home and the staff my extended family.

"Feels like home with caring staff"

My mom has been at Prestige Pines for 3 years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she gets. My family and I feel like the staff really know and love her. She’s always doing something fun when I visit. The staff always greet you with a smile when you walk in. I’m proud to call Prestige Pines home for my mom and consider the staff part of our extended family.

I use Prestige Pines for my parent's care. It's a nice place. The people who work there are very helpful, and the setting is pleasant. It's always clean, and the staff is friendly.

"Nice Place but Pricey: A Four-Star Review"

We checked out this place for my family member's care. It looked nice with a pretty main building and neat outdoor areas. But it was too pricey. The rooms in our budget were tiny and shared restrooms.

"Family Distance Hampers Care"

The place is just too distant from my family, and it doesn't meet my care needs well.

"Headline: "Prestige Pines: Untrained Staff and Neglected Residents""

My dad was placed in Prestige Pines by his court-appointed guardian. Despite being recognized for its care, I struggled to understand why during the two years my father lived there. It took two weeks for me to notice that my dad hadn't been added to the bath schedule. I was also constantly asking for his linens to be changed and his room to be cleaned. I found the management to be both uninformed and unsympathetic. Prestige Pines does not allow staff to enter the building on their days off, which means they sometimes return to work and find a resident has passed without them knowing. This rule is hard on both the staff and residents, particularly since the residents often see the staff as their family. Shockingly, the employees at Prestige Pines need no previous training. Although the aides and med techs were kind to my dad and me, I was uneasy at the thought that their only training came from an unqualified source. My father, who had Parkinson's, severe back pain, and type II diabetes, fell multiple times and the home did little to prevent him from eating unhealthy snacks brought in by his friend. The activities and exercise options were minimal and rarely promoted. After my dad passed, we were surprised not to receive a grief card from the facility, despite my dad being a resident for two years. To make things worse, it seemed the facility was spending money on new ornaments and paintings instead of on the residents' needs. The entrance was even dangerous because of the hanging icicles. I know it's impossible to watch everyone all the time, but Prestige Pines could definitely use more staff. They could also consider more extensive training and better wages. Our parents deserve more!

"Friendly Community with Room for Improvement"

We're quite pleased with this community! It's a bright, clean, and welcoming place. The staff genuinely cares for residents' needs, responding promptly to any issues. However, a touch more friendliness from caregivers would be appreciated—simple things like saying "Hi!" or being cheerful.
