"Great Place with Lots of Fun Activities"

I have lived here for 3.5 years. My room is cozy, and I have my own room with a private restroom. The dining tables are bigger now because they made more space for therapy equipment. The staff are usually very good, paying attention to all my needs and most of my wants. All the staff should be recognized for their dedication. For activities, we have bingo, Spy trivia, cooking, and crafts. Pet therapy is nice too. We have Wi-Fi, satellite TV, shower rooms, guest restrooms, a laundry room, and three meals a day. The trip to the St. Johns Mint Festival was memorable!

"Long-time resident, home-like room, enjoyable activities, grateful for wifi."

I've been a resident for 7.5 years, decorated my room like home. Staff helps well with daily needs. Enjoy activities like bingo and pet therapy, thankful for the wifi to watch shows.

"Manager at Prestige Assisted Living Goes Above and Beyond!"

My dad has been at Prestige for about 1.5 years. My mom and I are really pleased with the care he gets, especially the cozy family atmosphere. He likes the meals, and they usually have extra portions if he wants more. The staff is friendly and caring. The manager goes above and beyond!

"A Welcoming Home for Mom"

After visiting several places while searching for a home for my mom, we discovered Prestige Way. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Administrator and Nurse took the time to get to know my mom and me, making it feel like home instantly. When it came to placing my mom, everyone chipped in, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t praise this facility enough.

"Exceptional Care for Loved Ones"

This place has been really helpful for us with my mom. They helped us find her Hospice care and additional caregivers. I bring my dad to spend the day with her, and the staff is very nice to him, they know him by his first name and check in on them during the day. Then my wife picks him up on her way home from work. This community has done a lot for our family.

"Enjoyable Tour, Pleasant Community, Kind Staff – Highly Recommend"

I visited this place with my mom to see if it would be a good fit for her. The tour was nice, and we had a good time. The place looked really nice and tidy. The people who worked there were nice to us, and they seemed to care about the residents. Overall, it was a good experience.

"Grandmother Adjusting, Staff Kind; Good Food and Care"

My grandma is still getting used to the new community vibe, but she's managing alright. The people who work here try hard to make her feel at home. I think the place is set up pretty well. What's really cool is how many staff members there are to help out, and they're really patient too. The food they serve is pretty good, and there's a decent variety to pick from.

"Clean Facility, Staffing Issues Need Attention"

The assisted living place is really neat and tidy. The spot where my mom would stay looked nice. A friend who worked there before told me the workers aren’t great. It’s key that the people who work there can look after everyone well and not have to cover extra shifts because some staff don’t come in. This was a problem there. I’m giving three stars because it looks nice and it’s clean.

"Pricey Assisted Living With Shared Amenities"

The price listed when I recently visited the assisted living section wasn't correct. The cheapest available is a modest semi-private room with a small shared half-bath. Note that the initial price for the room does not cover care levels or costs for medicine distribution, which includes over-the-counter products. The cost escalates quickly based on the number of medications that need attention. Keeping anything cool means storing it in the fridge in the kitchen and requesting it when you need it. There is one big communal shower that is tiled. Although the concept seems good, cleanliness was not up to par, and I'm unsure about sharing this area. We found the staff to be very approachable and helpful. The outdoor views were pleasant.

"Tidy Up and Improve Food Quality Needed at Prestige Way"

My family member stayed at Prestige Way for a short while. It's okay, but it could be better. The place needs to be cleaner, and the food needs to taste better.

"Extremely Poor Care for Residents at Memory Care Facility"

My mother-in-law stayed in the Memory Care unit, but the care was awful. It seemed like they left her alone most of the time. We often found her bed covered in dirty linens and her wearing someone else's clothes. They neglected basic tasks like soaking her dentures and applying Fixodent. Several times we found used adult diapers in her trash bin and closet, even after we requested them not to leave them there. I've spoken with others who also removed their relatives from the facility. They even neglected to trim her nails when we asked. I've witnessed poor care while visiting her numerous times. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially since many residents can't articulate how they're being treated. It seems they don't often have family visitors, but in our case, we never visited without voicing a complaint.

"Steer clear if loved one is fall-prone, poor management"

100% don't leave your family members who are prone to falling in this place. They don't have enough people working to keep them safe. There's no talking between the bosses and the workers. The bosses are liars.

"Review of Maplewood Assisted Living "

The staff were friendly, and this place could work for Dad's budget.

"Good Care at a Fair Price"

Prestige Way offered quality care at a fair price. The staff levels were sufficient, and the food was tasty. The Administration promptly addressed any questions or concerns. My only issue was the lack of contact with the primary care physician, who is contracted to care for residents.

"Not much of a community feeling. D..."

Not much of a community feeling. I disliked the long buildings.

"Top-notch care but communication could improve: A Family's Satisfaction"

Our family and I are really happy with how well they looked after our mom. She stayed there for more than 2 years while her Alzheimer's got worse. I couldn't think of a better place with a nicer atmosphere. But, I have to say, sometimes it felt like they could've communicated better.

"Reluctant Approval for Prestige Way: Pleasing Staff, Poor Communication"

When we first sent our dad to Prestige Way for weekend respite care, we appreciated the quality care provided. Everything seemed good, at least on the surface. However, our perspective changed when he moved into their assisted living situation. He fell within his first three days, and we didn't hear about it immediately. After they informed us, they insisted he was uninjured. Yet, after a few days, dad stopped walking. Slowly, we got conflicting reports about his condition. Turns out, dad had a broken hip that wasn't attended to swiftly enough. We had been promised a prompt x-ray that took days to be conducted. I must note that the staff were friendly and seemingly cared. But their poor communication overshadowed their good intentions. Based on our initial respite care experience, I might have rated them 3.5 stars. But considering our actual assisted living experience, I'd barely give them 1.5. I understand accidents happen, but swift medical intervention should have been provided considering the circumstances of his fall. Also, when discussing a potential refund since dad's stay lasted only five days of the paid month, we met a brick wall. Their policy required a 30-day advance notice, something hidden in the fine print. It felt very underhanded to me, as they could have made his bed available once we informed them that he wouldn't return due to his injury. Instead, we received zero assistance or support, not even a simple call back. Please be cautious with your agreements. Read every single detail. That's where they disclose requirements like the 30-day notice rule. Personally, I think they should exercise flexibility, especially for brief stays. Their rigid policy seems to me like a deceptive way to exploit the elderly.

"Facility Ideal for Dad, But Not Mom"

The facility would work well for Dad, but it won't meet Mom's needs. The staff is friendly, helpful, and caring. They also provide Spectran transportation.
