"Poor Management and High Staff Turnover at Assisted Living Facility"
My family member lived at Provision Living of Forest Hills. There were always new staff members and no one stuck around for long. The Sales Director left the day my family member moved in. The Director of Nursing told us she wouldn’t leave, but she was out within two months. The Aides and Assistants were always changing too. The staff wasn't trained well. The management was really bad. My family member said the food was terrible. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone else.

"Inadequate Care at Assisted Living, Overpriced Charm"
This place looks nice, but they only put on a show on Sunday afternoons when people visit. If you need a staff member, good luck finding one. My family member wasn't cared for properly – not bathed, clothed properly or even helped with their hair. They just left them in bed most of the time. I could only discuss medical concerns by booking an appointment. I definitely won't recommend this place to anyone.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short, Needs Improvement"
My mom's been here almost 2 years. We picked it because they said they'd take care of her as she got older. It was okay when she could do things on her own, but now she needs more help, and the care isn't good enough. You'll need to have someone from your family there most of the day because the staff is too busy and not trained well. The people giving out medicine aren't properly trained. Nights, weekends, and holidays are especially tough because there aren't enough staff and not enough help for problems. It costs a lot and doesn't meet our expectations. The staff keeps changing, and there are always new people. I complained to the big boss, and they said they're trying to make things better. We'll see if they do.

"False Promises and Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
The nurse from Provision Living said they could care for my mom who tends to fall a lot. So, we moved my mom and all her stuff there. Only a week later, they told me they couldn't look after her because she was falling too much. They told me this even though they bragged about having cameras and tech to stop falls. They sent my mom to the hospital and wouldn't let her come back. Now, every time I call, I get a full voicemail box so I can't talk to anyone. They promised to mail a refund, but I never got it. I keep thinking about how often they treat people like this. I can't say anything good about them. It's a pretty place, but our experience was awful.

"Disappointing Quality of Care and Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
Whenever I visited my relative at this facility, their appearance was always a disaster. Their hair was only partially brushed, and they were usually dressed in whatever clothes they found lying around, regardless of whether they were suitable or not. It seemed no one bothered to assist them in dressing appropriately. On one occasion, I arrived after breakfast to find them still wearing the clothes they had on the afternoon before, and I had to help them change. More often than not, my loved one spent most of their time alone in their room, getting out of bed rarely. They were only involved in an activity once during all my visits. It was also difficult to communicate with the staff because they were almost never around. It was exceptionally rare to see any of them. For the high monthly fees this facility charged, I expected a lot more involvement and attention from the staff. However, even after the removal of a costly feeding tube, the fees remained the same. They claimed it had been so pricey because of the feeding tube. My relative even had to stay an extra month because a staff member failed to send their medical information as per my request. Finally, when the time came to move my loved one from this facility, not a single item of their belongings was packed. I had to do it all by myself, and several items have gone missing since then.

"Mixed Experience in New Assisted Living Facility"
Our family member entered the community needing hospice care, and the hospice team was great. They had ALS, and even though the facility said they could handle it, sometimes it didn’t seem like they were ready. Some aides were amazing and really went out of their way for us and our loved one. After some bumps and meetings, we felt they met our loved one’s needs. Overall, we would recommend this place to others. It’s a new facility and really beautiful. The food was good, and most of the staff, even housekeeping, were wonderful.

"Mixed Experience at Provision Living Assisted Living Facility"
Provision Living isn't as great as they say. The nurses are overworked, so your loved one might not get proper care. The bosses don't seem to care about the residents. They leave as soon as it's 5pm. The good staff left because they didn't get enough help. The building looks nice but isn't cleaned well. Many employees leave, which worries me. Look elsewhere for your loved one's care.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The community is really great and I would definitely tell others about it. The staff and our family talk a lot and they send us a newsletter every week to keep us in the loop.

"A Perfect Place for Comfort and Happiness in Senior Years"
Provision Living at Forest Hills was the best part of my senior years. I felt truly appreciated by everyone there and the whole staff really cared about how comfortable, satisfied, and happy I was. Now, I’m not afraid of moving to an assisted living place because I’ve found the perfect home and family.

"Inconsistent and Unreliable Assisted Living Facility Experience"
Provision Living at Forest Hills might not look as nice as you think. It's run by a Missouri company, and they make all the decisions from their main office. The people who work here are inexperienced and only care about looking good, not about the people who live here. They promise activities and outings, but they don't always happen, and they don't tell anyone when they change plans. They say they'll take people on trips in a bus, but then not everyone can go. This place is okay if you don't need much help, but if you do, it's not the right place. The people in charge only do things when they have to, and they don't plan ahead. The head nurse isn't good at her job, and the other staff work too hard because there aren't enough of them. The building is too big and confusing. They mess up giving out medicine a lot. Sometimes they give too much or too little, and sometimes pills go missing. They don't seem to care much about fixing problems. Some residents get special treatment, and they get to decide what activities everyone does. The TV doesn't work well, and the food isn't very good or healthy. Sometimes you have to wait a long time to eat, and the dining room is cold. The people who run this place aren't very nice. They act like they don't care about the people who live here. This place hasn't been open for very long, and it's not what it seems. They pretend to be good, but they're not. The residents are scared to complain because they're worried about what might happen. Some people have been kicked out for no good reason. Finding a good place for your loved one isn't easy. Even though we asked the right questions, the answers we got were too perfect. Be careful if you're thinking about bringing someone here.
