"Needs Improvement: Staff, Food, and Activities Lacking"
This place really needs to get better. They keep changing staff all the time. The food isn’t good, and sometimes they even run out of it. There aren’t many activities to do either. They really need to improve the staff, the food, and just the overall feel of the place.

"Assisted Living Review: Sunrise of Troy - Friendly, Safe, Recommendable, Meals Average"
The Sunrise of Troy meets our loved one's needs well. It feels safe and pleasant to live here. Our loved one isn't a huge fan of the meals, but we find them okay. The atmosphere is very friendly. Based on our experience, we'd recommend Sunrise of Troy to other families.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Good Care, Room for Housekeeping Improvement"
I moved my loved one here. Overall, it's been good. However, I think housekeeping could do better with vacuuming and air freshening. I visit 1-2 times a week on different days and often find clothes piled up in various spots, dirty trash cans, and floors that need vacuuming. The caregivers are great—they're gentle and patient when dressing and caring for my loved one. There are plenty of activities, but I would like to see a manicurist come in monthly. Overall, it's been a good experience.

"Great care, attentive staff, and plenty of activities at Sunrise"
The staff here genuinely cares and shows a lot of love. I couldn’t ask for better attention to my loved one’s needs! This place feels like a family as much as a care facility. Every staff member really cares about each resident, knows them by name, and does whatever it takes to meet their needs. After three months, I haven’t met anyone here who doesn’t deserve praise for their dedication and concern for the residents. There are lots of activities and entertainment to keep everyone social and involved. The food is excellent, with a great variety of entrees and plenty of basic options for those who don’t like the daily menu. Nothing is perfect, but if you want great care for your loved one, Sunrise of Troy is a fantastic choice.

"Mixed Experience with Diet Care at Sunrise of Troy"
They should improve how they handle my loved one's diet. He got extra fluids and had to go to the hospital. Besides that, our time at Sunrise of Troy was good. It's clean, and the staff is really nice.

"Clean and friendly assisted living, but diet care needs improvement."
I think they should pay more attention to what they feed my family member. He got too many liquids and had to go to the hospital. Besides that, our time at Sunrise of Troy was nice. It's clean, and the workers are really nice.

"Caring Staff Makes Mom Feel at Home"
This place is great! The people who work here are super nice and really care about everyone. They always answer my questions and keep me updated on what's happening. My mom lives here, and she's doing really well. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and at home.

"Decent Care, Not Flawless"
We've had some problems with how they handle paperwork and billing. Sometimes, our bills are completely wrong, or they're sent to the wrong person. The main office sends the bills, but the local facility has to fix them. Overall, it's a decent place—the staff is friendly, and the care is good—but not flawless.

"Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff, Unwelcoming Financial Personnel, Great Care"
The folks there were super nice and helpful. The caregivers and cleaning crew were amazing. The food was alright, although Bill wasn't too into it. I gotta gripe about this one lady though. She handled money stuff and was really cold and not nice at all. She shouldn't be dealing with people directly. But she was great—super kind and always around to help. If I have to deal with Vicky again, I'll move Bill somewhere else. The nurses were great too, always there to lend a hand. And she was super helpful, kind, and understanding.

"Overwhelming size, friendly staff, okay food, lacking personalized attention."
This place is too large, and it feels overwhelming sometimes. The staff is friendly, but it's hard to get personalized attention. The food is okay, but it could be better. Overall, it's alright, but not amazing.
