"Expensive Facility Unkept, Bug-Infested and Staff Unfriendly"
She liked the activities, but it's not worth the money. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone, ever. It's dirty, with trash in the halls and full garbage cans everywhere on the property. There are even bed bugs in some of the apartments. The workers aren't nice, and she doesn't and wouldn't use the care services if we needed them.

"Friendly Atmosphere with Some Connectivity Issues; Convenient Amenities and Central Location"
The residents in the building are very friendly. There are some problems with the internet connection in the building. The front office of the building makes it easy for residents to receive food deliveries and other services during business hours. I liked that utilities are included, although the thermostat only allows you to adjust the heat from high to low or turn it off. There is no temperature control for heating or air conditioning. This still saves a lot of money. The building's location was central. The maintenance team has been very quick to respond to concerns when complaints are filed online.

"Review: Comfortable But Expensive Facility with No Security"
The workers and the place made me feel comfortable. The first floor looked inviting with nail and hair care available. They also have their own place to eat but you need to pay for it. I'd advise a friend to look into it more. Being safe is crucial and there's no security here at all. The cost of these apartments is really high.

"Mixed experience with late meals and meds, but responsive care. Recommend Park at Franklin."
When it comes to meals and medications, they were often delayed due to staffing shortages. However, the staff in assisted care usually respond quickly to requests. Based on our experience so far, we would recommend the Park at Franklin community to other families.

"Bad experience with leased assisted living facility, roaches found"
The main building is the only one that's taken care of in this assisted living facility. The other buildings are not clean, especially Building B. After the contracts were signed, the sales team became hard to reach for any issues. I've seen a lot of reviews mention the old management company, "The Fountains", but there is a new company in charge that doesn't seem to have the same standards. We planned to remove my loved one the same day she moved in. She only stayed for two weeks. When we were moving her out, we saw roaches. It seemed like the staff knew about it already. Even though there's new carpet and fresh paint in the corridor, the place is still not clean.

"Friendly staff and great activities, but privacy concerns"
This has been a good experience for me at Park at Franklin. The front office staff is really friendly to work with. There are movie days, popcorn days, trips to the store, exercise classes, live music, and more for residents to choose from. They even provide a calendar of activities. My apartment is good for me, and some apartments even have terraces. I don't like that the staff comes into your apartment unannounced. There's new management, so we'll see if this changes.

"Disturbing First Impression of Part at Franklin Senior Living"
We only got a quick glance at Part at Franklin's exterior, but it honestly looked like a run-down mess. We couldn't even be sure if there was an entrance area. The parking area was tiny and not cared for at all. The whole building seemed like previously used apartments that they just decided to repurpose into a spot for older folks. At first, we planned on touring the place, but the pretty bad outside look made us change our minds.

"Rooms Open Directly Outside"
I checked out this place and saw their two-bedroom options, but they weren't that impressive. The room was downstairs, which was nice, but the front door opens straight to the outside. When you open your door, it feels like all of outside walks right in. The place seemed pretty clean, and they were fixing up the outside when I visited. The rooms had good lighting, but they're separate from the main office, so you have to go outside to get there. They're not even in the same building.

"Considering Other Places Due to Billing Problems and Poor Service"
We weren't pleased with the service at this assisted living facility. They first told us one price, but then billed us for a different, higher amount. In addition, the fire alarm keeps going off too often because someone inside has been smoking. The carpets are also dirty. The staff is not friendly, which doesn't help the situation either. We can't recommend this place due to its financial miscalculations.

"Unclean Conditions, Neglectful Supervision at Assisted Living Facility"
Even though the workers were super polite, I noticed that the carpet was pretty grimy and people living there were left alone. I even found one lady trapped behind the bathtub all by herself during my look-around. I have no idea how long she would have been stuck there if I wasn't on a tour. I definitely wouldn't want my family member to stay here.

I talked to them and checked their website. It's pretty much the same as the previous review. The apartments are really nice and suitable for seniors. "Unsatisfied: Poor Service and Unannounced Rent Hike"
We're really unhappy with this place. Almost every evening, the fire alarm gets set off and nobody turns it off for a good 15-20 minutes. After just half a year, they hiked up the rent by $50. They also don't provide helpers for disabled residents when we go out, so other folks have to help them instead. I asked the manager to call me about the increased rent over a week ago, but I'm still waiting. We're packing up and moving out of here, and we definitely won't be telling our friends to move here.

"Great Staff and Activities at The Fountains at Franklin"
The Fountains at Franklin have plenty of staff, and they are never shorthanded. They are all happy to help when needed. I like that my Dad has his own caregiver. "Less-Than-Satisfactory Experience at The Fountains"
Our time at The Fountains wasn't positive. The building is pretty on the outside, and the folks at the front desk are nice. But, we encountered problems from day one. My loved one needed help using the bathroom, but we couldn't find a help cord or staff member. And they didn't brush his teeth or wash his face the first morning I visited. The place has staff issues, they're understaffed, and many aren’t trained properly, so residents don't get the one-on-one attention they need. Some caregivers aren't certified, which compromises the care my spouse needs. Yes, he can do minor tasks himself, but he needs help standing to do them. The facility promises two showers a week, but my spouse hasn't been given one in a week. To ensure he receives the right level of care, I was told to hire external help. During the initial days, he didn't eat since no one chopped his food small enough or helped him eat. The bathroom in his room is so tiny, we can't get a wheelchair inside. Even if we manage that, there is no space to clean up. One day, I found his dirty clothes from the previous night carelessly discarded on a chair and the floor.”

"Decent Facilities, But Dining Needs Improvement"
My mom's been living here for a year. Her apartment's nice for the price. Staff's been friendly, professional, and helpful. They handle conflicts well. The shuttle service for appointments is great. They organize fun activities and outings. I've brought up issues, and they've addressed most of them. Cleaning and maintenance are okay. But some problems haven't been fixed. The food's mostly good, but they're really stingy. Charging $15 for a meal with your loved one feels unfair. Service can be slow, and they often run out of food. The dining area on each floor is dirty. The menus and furniture are gross. They don't clean the dining room properly. There aren't enough dishes sometimes. They even serve juice and soup in coffee cups. Requests take a while to fulfill. The dining problem is why we're leaving. Meds sometimes take too long to administer. This place isn't suitable for mostly independent folks. It'll drive them crazy with all the complaints.

"Cleaning crew's poor performance tarnishes the experience"
Our experience at The Fountains at Franklin has been less than awesome. We've had many problems with their cleaning crew, which is dampening our whole experience. My family member is in the assisted living section, and part of the services includes cleaning help. But, the cleaning folks don't seem to take it very seriously. They should clean her room thoroughly every week, but sometimes it takes even longer. Her bathtub and bath chair don't look clean either. Once she got sick and had to throw up in a bucket, but when we brought her back from the hospital, the bucket hadn't been emptied. They need to better their game a lot, and sadly, I haven't seen much progress, even after bringing it up repeatedly." .

"Comfortable, Caring, and Welcoming."
My 89-year-old dad is starting to feel at home in his new place after leaving the house he lived in for 40 years. We looked at many senior residences, but I knew The Fountains At Franklin was the right choice when I saw how happy he was during the tour. In the 3 months he's been there, he’s enjoyed his apartment, the services, the delicious meals, and the amazing staff. He’s also meeting new people, which is great since he became a bit of a recluse after losing my mom, his wife of over 52 years. The common areas and classes have really helped him settle in. We’re so thankful for such a clean and pleasant environment.

"Varied activities, attentive staff; room for improvement in accessibility."
This place has activities throughout the day, but what you can do depends on your abilities. Right now, my mom is going on field trips, which is great. She couldn't do that before, but they adjusted her medicine, and now she can. They had someone evaluate her and change her medicine just for her to go on field trips. The place has lots of activities for older people, but my mom can't do much. Overall, I like it here. Whenever I have a problem, I talk to the director, and she fixes it right away. I used to visit three times a week, but now I go twice because they thought that might be better. Sometimes when I visit, they've gone on a bus ride or done an activity, but I'm not sure how often that happens. I believe there should be plenty of activities. "Mixed Feelings About Memory Care Facility; Private Pay Only"
This place only accepts private payment now. The person who talks about it was really helpful, knew a lot, and was nice. People who live there and work there like her. She takes good notes. The staff is nice, and the place is in a good spot. They have special care for people with memory problems, a school, a library, bathtubs, and animals to help. The place looks nice. But the person who wrote this didn't see much of how the staff and people who live there interact. They noticed a small smell in the memory care part and when they came in. The memory care rooms looked full, but that's not all bad. It made them a little sad to see so many people with memory problems in one place. They're not sure if their mom should be in this special part yet. There were lots of people moving around on both floors. When they asked someone in the lobby if they liked it there, they hesitated before saying yes. The cost was more than they thought it would be.
