"Too Far from Family"
Nice place, but too distant from loved ones.

"Warm, Caring Environment for Seniors Needing Extra Support"
Our mother used to live in a senior independent apartment, but as her dementia worsened, she couldn't manage on her own anymore. We moved her to Torrey Pines House of Bread in early May. Although the move was stressful for everyone, the staff have been amazing. The home feels cozy and full of love. It's warm, welcoming, and the staff is always kind and gentle. The place is newly renovated, super clean, and beautifully decorated. My mom's room is bright, cheerful, and filled with natural light. She enjoys three home-cooked meals a day, plus snacks in between. She's always clean, well-kept, and her clothes are washed daily. There's a big but cozy living room with a large TV. Even though there's no activity director right now, they've been doing activities with my mom to keep her busy. I hope they add an activity director and some transportation for field trips in the future. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience for my mom. She's calmer, less anxious, and thriving. We've finally found peace, knowing she's cared for in such a professional and loving way. We highly recommend Torrey Pines House of Bread to families seeking skilled and loving care for their loved ones.
