"Lack of Welcome and Care Overview"
The place was okay, but my family member needed more attention than they got. It took a while to sort out their medication. The staff communication was just okay. I expected a welcome, but there was no care overview during the transition.

"Mixed Impressions at Vibrant Life"
We visited Vibrant Life, but it didn't impress us like other places we saw. The location was too far for our family. .

"Assisted Living Community Provides Engaging Activities and Excellent Care"
"My loved one has been well taken care of here. They keep the residents busy and engaged with plenty of activities. I would definitely recommend this community to others."

"Quick Visit, Lacked Personal Touch"
The rooms were pretty cramped and didn’t have their own bathrooms. The main part of the building was separate from the Alzheimer’s section, which we didn’t get to check out. They didn’t take the time to sit down with us and talk about what we’re worried about. The whole thing seemed hurried.

"Inadequate Management and Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
The people in charge are always missing, they never pick up their calls or get back to you. It's impossible to get any updates about my wife unless I personally visit the facility and even when there, no one seems to have any clue about her medication or who you can report your worries to. The rate of staff change here is too high for comfort too. I'm considering other options.

"Caring Staff Makes All the Difference!"
I was really scared when I started looking for a place for my dad, who has Alzheimer’s. He’d been living alone, and the disease had gotten worse. There weren’t many options in Temperance, but I chose Vibrant Life. It turned out to be the best decision! The staff is super caring—they don’t just do their job. When they say they care for the residents, they also care about the families. That matters a lot in the care process.

"Exceptional care!"
As the Power of Attorney for my Aunt, I toured several facilities in southern Michigan. Vibrant Care's staff commitment stood out.

"Lacking Communication and Privacy at Vibrant Life Senior Living"
My mom stayed at Vibrant Life Senior Living in Temperance for a little while. They didn't tell me right away when she had a stroke, and communication hasn't been great since. They did take her to the hospital. She hasn't gone back yet, and I've had trouble getting answers from them. Also, I don't like that they don't have private bathrooms. But the staff is nice, and the place is clean.

""Unpleasant Smell and Rude Staff at Assisted Living Facility""
The Kinsey Family needs to stop exaggerating how good this place is with their excessive praises. This place isn't great at all. I went to see a friend, and the place smelled like a cat's litter box and a barn. My friend complained about the staff being really mean. They also mentioned their clothes disappearing, even if their name is on them. Their family is thinking about moving them somewhere else very soon!

"Rude Nurse and Ignoring Management Ruin Assisted Living Experience."
Staying anonymous because I'm scared my mother-in-law might get bad treatment. There's a nurse at this place who acts really mean. She doesn't do what she's supposed to and I've seen her yelling at and bullying the other workers too many times. This makes me feel really sorry for them and makes me want to stick up for them when they can't themselves. I've tried to make complaints but the top boss at this place doesn't bother to call me back, nor does she seem to care much about the worker's problems. Because of this, I'm gonna report the place to the Better Business Bureau hoping they might help. It's not right how the workers who are always kind to my mother-in-law after super long workdays have to put up with being treated so badly. Other family members and I are keeping a record of all the bad stuff that's going on. It's amazing how the workers keep smiling even though their bosses are so negative. Shielding a bully isn't a good way to protect a company. I'd think they'd know better, bullies are a problem waiting to happen. They should be trying to put a stop to the bad behavior, not letting it continue like they are currently. It's a shame that the workers have to handle such bad treatment from their superior. As someone who works in Human Resources, the management of this place needs to step it up and make this a nice place to work in. I've always stood up for the little guy and this place sure needs some good, reliable leaders.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My great-grandma lives here and I'm pleased with the evening staff who go above and beyond for her. However, she doesn't like the morning staff or nurse coordinator. They're rude and gossip about others. The nurse coordinator doesn't listen to residents and doesn't ensure their care. There are bugs in the lights and bathrooms, and the place smells bad despite air fresheners. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have no other choice. They don't treat their staff fairly, and some seem overworked. I'll give it 3 stars only because of the great second shift staff.

"Avoid this Facility: Poor Service, Unaccountable Staff, and Lost Items"
I strongly suggest avoiding this dementia facility. Despite paying for a full month, I had to take my mom home after only a week. In half of my four visits, I found her sitting in her own waste. They've somehow lost her expensive glasses and they've mismanaged her necessary leg brace, even though I showed them the correct way to put it on. They've misplaced her labeled clothing, and I've found residents sleeping in her private room. They have a clear shortage of staff, with some working extra-long 16 hour shifts. They seem to promise that your loved one will be cared for, but in reality, it's far from the truth. The few dedicated and caring employees are simply outnumbered by those who don't care. After payment, they don't seem to be concerned with addressing your worries. They offered no refund for the poor service, just a mere "sorry". Not to mention, this was supposed to be respite care for me after non-stop caregiving for two years. Instead, I spent my time worrying and checking on her because they weren't taking care of her properly. If you decide to use this facility, I wish you good luck.
