The rooms and how everything is set up here are good, and because of COVID, the activities have been impacted. The food is healthy and reasonably priced. I would suggest this place to a family member or friend.

"Terrible Service and Lack of Care at Assisted Living Home"
I moved out of this assisted living facility because they didn't fulfill their obligations. I was promised frequent cleanings of my apartment, but I rarely saw the cleaner. As one of the younger residents, I found some staff members to be curt and unkind. Despite promising an independent lifestyle, I was often scolded for leaving my room. The facility didn't communicate about the pandemic or inform us if anyone was ill. This lack of freedom and information seemed to worsen the overall health of the residents. The facility didn't uphold their terms of agreement. On top of that, the food quality was poor. The menu lacked variety and the meals were not well-prepared. I wouldn't advise anyone to choose this facility.

"Prompt Care Management at Waldon Assisted Living Facility"
My mom's at Waldon for 2 weeks. First, we worried about her care consistency. But when I told the managers, they fixed it fast with a new system. I'm really happy with how quick they were. I'd suggest this place to anyone needing a friendly, caring home for their loved one!

"Mom Thriving with Friends and Activities Here"
This is a really nice place. The outside could use some updates, but the inside is clean and comfy. My mom is doing great here. We moved her furniture into her room so she feels more at home, and she’s already making friends. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities for her to join, and she and her friend enjoy going to church together. I definitely recommend taking a tour to see the community for yourself.

"A Dimly Lit Community"
We visited this community. The place felt dark, and the staff didn't seem very friendly. My mom didn't feel comfortable. Although they had a nice menu and offered activities for residents, it wasn't as bright as she wanted. Families should tour this community for their loved ones.

The people who worked here were really nice during our tour. They showed us everything patiently and answered all our questions. There were many cool things for the people living there. However, my Aunt wasn't sure if it was the right place for her.

We're currently unhappy with this facility. We've had to repeatedly bring minor concerns to the staff's notice, as they seem to have a knack for forgetting. The meal offerings don't sit well with my dad. He faced difficulties in getting a nurse's attention when he was sick too. Although the staff are very approachable, they tend to drop the ball on matters needing their attention. If you're considering this facility for your loved one, I suggest taking a tour first.

"Perfect Fit for Mom!"
Mom's been at Waldon Woods for two months, and it's been great! She's in the Independent Living area, so she doesn't need much help from the staff, but they're there when she does. They make three meals a day and do weekly housekeeping and laundry. We searched for months to find the right place for Mom, and we're so grateful we found Waldon Woods!

" Warning: Staff Takes Possessions and Food from Residents"
The workers here take things, like food, from the elderly residents that do not belong to them. When they give these items back, they're not in the same state they were in originally. The place itself is okay, but don't leave anything valuable in the room because the nurses might take it. If a loved one passes away, make sure to remove their belongings from the room within two weeks.

"Great care, clean place, and tasty food!"
Waldon Woods has been great so far! The care is really good, and the place looks nice and clean. They make sure everyone gets plenty of good food—it's excellent! My mom is happy, and I haven’t heard any complaints yet.

"Caring Staff Make Waldon Woods Perfect for Mom"
When we were looking for a place for our mom, we visited three places nearby that were familiar to us and suited her budget. Only one met her needs for care. When we stepped into her current caregiver facility, the first thing we noticed was the staff. The other two places weren't like that at all. While we were talking to the manager, an alarm went off, and immediately we saw staff members rushing down the hallway to help someone in need. It was very impressive. We were convinced right then and there. Waldon Woods is an excellent place for our mom.
