1. I'm here for reasons I don't like, but they helped me get settled. 2.My home has new carpet and paint now—it looks nice. 3. Everyone is friendly. 4. The atmosphere is welcoming. 5. Not sure about the food quality. 6. I attend exercise classes in the main building. 7. I'm happy to be here.

"Fantastic Place with Great Management and Peaceful Atmosphere"
I’ve been living in a charming 1-bedroom cottage here since August 1, 2014, and I’m really happy with it! The community is peaceful and friendly, and the management is great. They always take care of maintenance requests quickly. I’m a very satisfied resident! It’s just a few blocks away from all the shops I could want. After spending 25 years in a mobile home, handling all the upkeep, repairs, yard work, and expenses myself, it’s a huge relief to have everything covered by the affordable rent here. I also dealt with noisy, not-so-great neighbors before, but the Carefree Cottages community is beautiful and quiet. I absolutely love it!

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Tour, Cottages Small and Dark"
The tour felt rushed, cottages are tiny and dimly lit. Also, we had to walk on snow or ice to get to our car and to the trash.
