"Assisted Living Experience: Mixed Feelings, Room Cleanliness Appreciated"
My brother moved Mom here despite her wishes. Her room was nice and clean. Once, there was a big water puddle in the dining room; staff took long to clean. Mom's dining table looked moldy without tablecloths. Leftover food stayed for over an hour. During supper, aides were idle. Mom struggled to chew as her food wasn't cut. Initial staff reception was unfriendly; being nice helped. One staff member spied on us. Grateful for helpful nurse with mail.

"Clean, Friendly Respite Care with Unique Day Rate Option"
My family member stayed at Chandler Place for Respite care, using their unique day rate option. The facility was clean and welcoming, with excellent staff providing good care, meals, and activities. I would recommend Chandler Place to others.

"Beautiful Facility with Friendly Atmosphere; Costly for Us"
We visited Chandler Place—a lovely facility with a welcoming atmosphere. It was too costly, so we didn't select it.

"Mixed Experience at Chandler Assisted Living"
Chandler is a nice place, but they charge for every little thing. For example, they billed for a Band-Aid and even for confirming a bruise was healed. The response time to my parent's needs isn't the best. My mom's meds at night are supposed to be around 8pm, but sometimes she doesn't get them until after 11pm. I think they're short-staffed. When my mom fell and fractured her ribs, Chandler communicated minimally with me. I had to keep contacting the hospital to find out when my mom would be released and how she would be transported. Also, it would be nice if someone on staff engaged more with the residents, made them aware of activities, and encouraged their participation.

"Limited Availability for One-Bedroom Apartments"
We visited the community in person and liked the nice atmosphere, especially the church services led by a Catholic priest. Unfortunately, they didn't have any one-bedroom apartments available when we needed to move our loved one.

"Limited Availability Raises Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
When we were searching, the most important thing was that the place accepted the elderly waiver. That really influenced our decision. They told us they'd accept it after 2 years of private payments. We signed the lease, but when I called for more info, they said they had no openings. If we run out of money, we'd have to move her again. It felt like they didn't tell us about the limited spots, and that's a big problem.

"Nice place with great staff and fun activities"
It's very nice and clean. The staff are really good. Every Thursday, there’s an outing, sometimes to a restaurant. They offer activities like Bingo, dominoes, movies twice a week, and a happy hour every Friday. There are lots of things to do. It’s a clean and friendly place. I have recommended it to my sibling too.

"Memory Care Offers Separate Dining Hall for Residents"
My mom enjoyed her previous living arrangement because it allowed her more independence. She appreciated doing her own laundry and following her daily routines. The main dining room is never crowded since the Memory Care section has its separate dining hall. However, I'm unsure about their meal times.

"Chandler Place: Too Big for Comfort"
Chandler Place felt too large for my loved one to feel at ease and get enough attention.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks dark and smells like deodorizer everywhere. The room they offered was too far from the elevator, but it's very close to where I live. It's more expensive for less space. They have a one-bedroom with a den, but it's farther from the dining room. Unfortunately, there's no in-unit laundry. On the bright side, indoor parking is included.

"Respite Care and Beyond"
I took my father to Chandler Place for a weekend respite. The staff was amazing, ensuring he felt cared for and adding thoughtful touches to make his stay enjoyable. I appreciated their flexibility with short-term stays, unlike many other places. It was a helpful trial for potential assisted living. While my father doesn’t need it yet, Chandler Place is on my ‘short list.
