"Nice Location, Good Food, But Better for Higher-Functioning Folks"
It's a good place for the area. It's smaller, but I think it's a nice size. If we hadn't brought in hospice early, I'm not sure it would have worked for my parents. It's better for higher-functioning folks. The food is good, and the rooms are well-designed. Moving in was easy, and the marketing person was good. Some nurses weren't as helpful as other staff. The Covid virus made things hard for everyone.

"Friendly staff and good cost, but small apartments"
My Dad and I liked the great tour given by the Director of Marketing. The staff is very friendly. The cost is better than other places. The Director of Nursing is a big plus. The apartment is small. There are not many independent living residents.

"Assisted Living Offers Clean Environment and Balanced Meals"
My mom is settling in well. The place is always clean. She chooses 2 meals daily, which are balanced. The caregivers are okay, encouraging her to join activities. There's a nice porch with chairs. They offer bus trips for outings and groceries. Monthly cleaning and linen service; daily trash and bed-making.

"Disappointing Respite Stay at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom's short stay at this place wasn't great. They kept her in her wheelchair all day, and she didn't enjoy the food—they didn't give her many options. The staff were friendly, but they charged extra for each thing she needed. It wasn't what we expected.

"Great tour, but no mobile lift for immobile parent"
We had a great tour here. The community seems like a good fit for my parents. The staff was attentive, showed us around, and answered all our questions. The only issue is that my mom needs a mobile lift since she can’t move on her own, and they don’t have one. We’d need to buy one ourselves for her to live there.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The memory care staff are friendly, but communication could improve. It's tough to get in touch with the right person. The apartment for my loved one is pleasant. The memory care unit is secure. Overall, I'd rate the assisted living area a four. They've got a lovely chapel. Pets are welcome, and there are birds around. Plus, they have a great hairdresser, and the rooms offer nice views.

"Good for care, no stairs. Families should tour."
I toured this community for care, avoiding stairs. They offer resident activities. We sought different care levels. Liked the staff's care information. Families should tour here.

"Unhappy Experience at Assisted Living Facilities, Seek Better Options"
Don't choose this place! My dad and an old neighbor live here, but they're soon moving out. There's never enough staff around which means seniors who need assistance often have to wait a long time. When help does arrive, it's rushed. My dad was really roughly treated when getting dressed because the staff was hurrying. They aren't friendly, and don't converse much with the seniors. Some of them have thick accents, making them hard to understand especially for residents with hearing problems. The food at Cornerstone.. well, let's just say that even a lousy school canteen serves better. Everything's overcooked and mushy. The dining room is always noisy with loud music which makes it hard for those with hearing issues to hold a conversation. We've requested to have the volume lowered many times but nothing changes. There are also individuals with dementia living alone in the Assisted Living section who seem lost all the time. They don't know where they are or why they are there. It would be safer for them in a Memory Care unit instead of Assisted Living, where they may hurt themselves without even knowing how to ask for help.

"Mixed Impressions, Will Revisit"
Wasn’t ready for us, and I wasn’t impressed. But after chatting with Marcus, I’ll give it another shot. Most folks seem to like it.
