"Affordable, Friendly Assisted Living"
It's a nice place with friendly staff. We picked it for affordability, availability, and the overall atmosphere.

"Stay Involved in Loved One’s Care"
Make sure to visit your family member often at the care facility to make sure they’re getting the help they need. Always check with them to see if they’re receiving all the services they should be. If something’s missing, don’t hesitate to speak with the manager. Be curious about any changes, especially with medicines. It’s important to have a written version of their care plan. Consider setting up cameras that link to your phone for extra peace of mind.

"Heathers Manor Feels Right with Friendly Staff and Warm Atmosphere"
We picked Heathers Manor because after visiting several places, we just had a feeling that this was the right one. When we walked into Heathers Manor, everything felt right. My two daughters felt the same way. The staff is really friendly, and you feel at home. They put in a lot of effort to get to know you. I would definitely suggest it to anyone looking for a place.

"Once Top-Notch Facility Now Neglected and Run Down"
The managers here have let this place go. This living facility used to be the best. Now, it's beaten up, the rugs are all soiled, and dogs are just roaming everywhere without anyone watching them. They're still using Styrofoam to deliver our meals (they've been doing this for 2 years now). The parking area and the walkways are in such bad shape it’s an accident waiting to happen. What's going wrong?

""Poor Management in Run-down Facility with Boxed Meals""
This place is chaotic. The management is really bad. They have still serving food in boxes to the residents for two years now. The paths and driveway are greatly damaged. The carpets are filthy and the place is extremely rundown. Lots of new staff members and I heard many old employees have left.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living: Limited Activities, Poor Food"
My mom came here in May 2021. We're quite let down. They promised fun outings, movies, a book club, good food, and a personal buddy to help her meet people. But because of Covid, none of that happened. Even now, after eighteen months, they're still serving food in styrofoam boxes. And it's terrible. They say there was a leak in the dining room, but couldn't they find a solution? For activities, they still have to wear masks and stay six feet apart. So, no one's making friends. My mom is outgoing, but here, she hasn't made any friends yet. Since everyone's vaccinated, I thought they'd try to get my mom a buddy and introduce her, but they haven't. Now, their van is broken, so they can't go on outings. The staff is great, though. Really friendly.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place is clean, but there are issues. The food is terrible because they're not using the dining room. They haven't fixed a leak from above. The van for outings is rarely used. My loved ones feel alone. I hope things improve.

"Great staff and clean facilities, but food could be better"
I thought they were great. The staff knew their stuff, were super friendly, and really tried to help. The place was spotless. The rooms were nice, and the furniture was comfy. The food wasn't that great it tasted a bit like canned stuff and had a school lunch vibe. But other than that, I definitely recommend them. The grounds are beautiful and the location is really convenient.

"Assisted Living Facility Bill Dispute: Unpleasant Surprise and Incompetence"
My mom went to the hospital in February. I told Heather's staff she wouldn't return. They said I'd only owe March rent without services. I agreed to get her stuff out. Sadly, she passed in March. When I spoke to them later, they still said March rent only. Her place was empty by mid-March. I returned the keys. But in May, I got a bill for April too! And they didn't credit me $500 for a pet deposit. I was promised this four times! I contacted billing, but they said it was corporate's mistake. By June, nothing changed. They still wanted two months' rent from my deceased mom and no $500 credit. I'll pay March rent, minus the $500, but this is not okay. The local staff at Heather's are nice, but their corporate office is not competent, to say the least.
