"Understaffed and Slow, Not Handicap Friendly. Avoid Kingsley Shores."
This place doesn't have enough workers and they take a long time to help. It's hard for people with disabilities to get around. I wouldn't suggest going to Kingsley Shores.

"Highly Recommended but Needs More Staff"
I would totally recommend them. They do a great job even though they seem to be understaffed. We never worried about our loved one's safety, but they do need to hire more people.

"Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff, Limited Availability, Nursing Home Feel"
When I called to confirm, they seemed unsure about my tour appointment, but the staff was friendly. I inquired about available independent two-bedroom units; they thought there might be some. Upon arrival, I found a waiting list of over 50 people. I couldn't view a unit, only toured the building. The amenities were nice, but I wouldn't have visited if I knew there were no openings. The environment felt too much like a nursing home, which isn't suitable for my 85-year-old dad, despite his age.

"Responsive Staff Corrects Mishap, Impressive Service!"
My family member had a problem with one of the services at the place where they live. It was a pretty serious problem, but when I told the people who work there about it, they took action right away to fix it. I think that's really good of them.

"Unmet Expectations"
This new facility in Lakeville has memory care and a locked area, which my Mother needs. However, many promises were made that haven't come true. I'm not sure if the housing person understood memory care. There's not enough mental stimulation or Bible study, and they also promised weekly church, which hasn't happened. These things are vital for my Mother, and I would have chosen elsewhere if I knew the truth. Plus, there's too much TV time.
