"Neglected Residents, Unclean Facility and Disinterested Staff at This Home"
I'm not sure how this facility manages to remain open. The staff members are terrible - they're constantly on their phones, ignoring the people they are supposed to be taking care of. Some of the people living here, who have dementia, are totally neglected. Their faces are scruffy from not shaving, they smell of urine and feces, and it's just not good. The bathrooms upstairs are never clean either. And the food is dreadful. The person who's supposed to be in charge, they call her the "home lead", would rather sit at the dining room table, doing her online shopping on her laptop, leaving the residents without the care they desperately need. Please, don't leave your loved ones here.

"Terrible Assisted Living Facility with Horrible Food and Communication"
They weren't honest about things. The room size was way smaller than what they told us - only about one-third to be exact. They dropped the ball with getting back to us and stuff. Even though they charge so much every month, like over, the food was just horrible. It was super salty and mostly just canned soup and veggies. You really wouldn't want to leave someone you care about in this awful place. My sister is now in a much better place where they treat her awesome and the food is yummy homemade stuff, and it's only half the price.

"Responsive Staff Amidst Challenges"
I'd say the community sometimes struggles with communication between families and staff. But overall, the administrative team listens to feedback and acts promptly. Maybe it's because of the pandemic.

"Great care in a home-like setting made transition easier"
My late husband got great care at this place. The home-like setting made the move smoother for him. Even though his dementia was quite advanced and he could barely speak, he really liked the deck and backyard, the outings, the food, and the staff who were very caring.

"Distressing Account of Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
As a nurse, I was shocked by the poor treatment I found during unexpected visits to this assisted living facility. My mom, a patient under Medicare/Medicaid after spending all her own money on a long illness, was often found improperly cared for. Sometimes, I'd show up and see mom stuck in an elderly chair in a common area at 9:30 at night, which was way past her bedtime. Other residents were seen poking my mom in the eyes and pulling her hair, and there was no staff around to supervise. It wasn't just once or twice that I found my mom wearing clothes dirtied with feces, with used pads also left on her room floor. They even went as far as to restrain her forcibly to draw blood without approval from her medical power of attorney. When we complained to the State, the facility's director and house manager acted aggressively, making my mom's last days a pure hell. I've got pictures of how bad the conditions at this place were which I'm more than willing to share.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short: No Elevator, Uncertain Renovations"
I heard good stuff about this place from a friend and a relative of someone living there. But guess what? No elevator! That's a big problem, especially for folks who can't climb stairs easily. And to top it off, they're talking about renovations, but who knows when they'll actually finish? It's all up in the air.
