"Good Facility, Needs Better Nursing Management"
The place says it’s an Enhanced Assisted Living spot, but it’s really just like any other regular assisted living place. They’re missing some good nursing leaders, and the head nurse in the Enhanced part doesn’t check in as much as they should. But besides that, everything else at the place is really great!

"Deceptive Assisted Living Facility Disregards Tenants' Rights and Welfare"
REVISED :: Our 1-bedroom unit at this assisted-living community has an electric furnace, unlike the other units with gas ones. Since electricity usage isn't covered in the rent, we pay for it separately. This was a surprise because we were told that all utilities were included in the rent, which was false. When an Excel Energy worker visited my unit to help reduce my winter electricity charges, the property manager barred him from entering the premises. To sidestep this, I invited him as my guest, making the property manager furious. She even tried to breach my privacy by attempting to extract my account details from Excel, thankfully they didn't submit. In January, I discovered the property wasn’t listed under the city’s ownership, contradicting what the management had said about their property tax exemption. I had to contact three different government departments to debunk their false claims. Even though the city necessitates background checks for all rental communities, the community disregarded this rule. Sadly, this community fosters a toxic environment characterized by bullies. I can personally attest to the malicious gossip, exclusion, and isolation by others. My leasing agent intentionally overlooked me for a garage stall multiple times. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to live here since the staff and corporation use scare tactics, including eviction threats, to quell any criticism. The management didn’t appreciate my knowledge of tenant rights, including the right to hold rent in escrow at the county courthouse until neglected work orders are completed. Moreover, dog waste is frequently left in common areas, posing a health hazard, which is very unpleasant.

My parents live at Silver Creek. It's been great so far. The staff is friendly and helpful, but communication could improve. The food is good, the place is clean, and they offer lots of activities. Overall, we're happy.

My mom is still getting used to living here, but I feel good about everything they're doing for her. She's safe, and they're really on top of her care. The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms and community are neat. They serve good meals and have fun activities. Overall, it's been great for my family, and I'd recommend it.

"Convenient Care for Loved Ones"
We visited this community for my sister's care. The staff answered our questions about her needs. Although we didn't want her on the second floor due to mobility issues, we appreciated the convenient location for family visits. We recommend it for loved ones.
