"Ownership change affected staffing; excellent therapists."

Not as nice since ownership change; fewer aides, but great therapists.

"All-Inclusive Assisted Living with Minor Odor Issue"

I'd recommend it to others. The only issue is the urine smell in common areas, but overall, it's been good. I chose this community because of the all-inclusive pricing.

"Activities Galore, But Not for Mom"

I really liked Stoney River when I was searching for a place for my mom. They have lots of activities and extras, but unfortunately, my mom's condition wouldn't allow her to enjoy them. That's why we chose a different facility.

"Struggles with Communication and Maintenance in Assisted Living Facility"

We were really excited about this place in the beginning. Most of the people who work here are nice and helpful, but it was really frustrating when things needed fixing. I'm not sure how someone who lives here alone can handle problems on their own. The office people and the boss never pick up the phone or call back. I can't say I'd tell someone to live here.

"Nice place, but needs more staff and better food"

This place looks nice and feels like home. The staff is really helpful and friendly, but they could use more people in some areas. The residents sometimes complain about the food and the doors locking too early.

"Assisted Living Facility: Mixed Experience with Room for Improvement"

They do their best to improve living conditions, but there are some issues. More diverse activities are needed; current ones are challenging for many residents. The food, especially breakfast, lacks variety and quality. Lunch and dinner menus repeat daily. It may help with weight loss short-term, but improvements are necessary.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

I know they're really short-staffed right now, which makes things tough. A lady named [name removed] was super helpful when I moved in, but she's moved to a different job. Also, [name removed] in maintenance is nice and quick to help. It'd be great if there was a way for folks to get back inside after 6 pm without having to wait for someone to let them in. But, the food here is just terrible. The folks serving it seem nice, but they're not great at chatting with older folks. The rooms don't get cleaned very well either. And the activities they have could definitely be more fun. They've got a new activities person, so maybe that'll get better soon.

"Assisted Living Facility Provides Good Experience Amid Changes"

The experience was positive. They were undergoing management changes, but it didn't affect us. The only downside, which isn't their fault, is they don't offer two-person assists or Hoyer lifts. We had to relocate my loved one because she needed more intensive care. My mom, a vegetarian, received special meal options from their dedicated dietitian. Overall, it's a suitable place for those requiring less assistance.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

The people there are nice, but things keep changing. They don't tell us enough and sometimes it's not very clean. They need to be better at talking to us, keeping things tidy, and making sure my family member gets their medicine on time. I hope things get better with new bosses.

""Pitiful Care at Assisted Living Facility Causes Distress""

This assisted living facility disappointed us immensely. Despite a clear assurance that they would manage all of my aunt's medications, they failed to secure her insulin for an entire week. Not once did they communicate this lapse to us. The memory care unit, which should ideally engage residents with activities to enhance their memory, offered no such programs. Furthermore, basic hygiene took a backseat. The laundry service worked at a snail's pace; her sheets would be gone for days. The trash in her bathroom would be filled to the brim before they emptied, requiring reminders during every visit. This environment bred immense dissatisfaction, leading to multiple discussions with the director. However, each visit revealed an unsettling scene - an inadequate staff-to-resident ratio. Locating personnel took an agonizing 15 minutes. In one heart-wrenching incident, my aunt fell from her bed, breaking her back. The attending nurse's irritated response was far from compassionate. Alarmingly, they never admitted her again, nor explained why. Days later, we received a call from the director, instructing us to collect her belongings. It was an utterly deplorable experience.

"Charming Common Areas but Small Rooms"

I really liked how they arranged the common spaces! It looked really nice, like little streets. As soon as you entered, there were fake street lights, making it feel like you're strolling down a street. They did a great job making it a fun place to hang out. However, I wasn't a fan of the small rooms. Maybe they weren't smaller than other places, but there was only one window, making it feel dim and cramped.

"Stay Alert: Assisted Living Facility Underdelivering"

Caution to all potential customers. The facility didn't fulfill all they pledged. There's an issue of inadequate communication.

"Warm and Inviting Atmosphere with Fantastic Omelets"

I had such a great time staying at Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Care! The food was awesome, especially the omelets—they were the best I've ever had! The place felt really cozy and friendly. When I was recovering from eye surgery, the staff took great care of me, making me feel right at home. I couldn't join in on the activities, but I'd totally go back there and tell all my friends and family about it!

"Friendly Staff"

This place was great for my mom. The staff is friendly, supportive, and checks on her regularly. The food is tasty, but they have specific meal times. They also have daily activities, and the community is always clean. I’d recommend it.

"Great Place but Too Pricey"

The place is really nice, but it's too expensive for us.

"Facility Preparations Poor, Not Welcoming for Prospective Residents"

The place looks great, but they weren't ready for us even though I had a confirmation email. Their organization seemed off, with no signs of activities for residents needing memory care, and no answers about plans for these residents. We didn't get to try the food, but the menu I saw didn't look exciting at all. When we first got there, the person at the front desk made us feel like we were a bother. It wasn't friendly. Nothing caught our eye that made us want to choose this place.
