"Dim Assisted Living with Essential Amenities"
I thought this place was too dim. The woodwork was dark, and the hallways felt narrow. It didn't feel welcoming; actually, it had a somewhat gloomy atmosphere. However, it did have all the essential amenities.

"“Kinds of Aides and Fees Vary at The Glenn Minnetonka”"
The Glenn Minnetonka is pretty nice, sitting in the heart of the senior-friendly Glen Lake area. Right around the corner, you'll find, a dentist, hair salon, a couple of restaurants, a post office, a service center, and tax services. If you or your loved one can get by without daily assistance, this place might work for you. However, if you need more help than what basic assisted living offers, you might want to look elsewhere. Be prepared for costs to add up too. The extra services like escorts, meal delivery, safety checks, and medication management don't come free. What's worse, the costs change every month. And you might find yourself being encouraged to move into the pricier care suites. On the bright side, some of the helpers are pretty awesome, but others can be a bit rude. Oh, and don't get your hopes up about the food. They changed providers in fall of 2017 and it's not so great anymore. Do some research. A lot of places now have tiered service plans, which means a nurse will examine your needs upfront and you'll know what you'll be paying each month. So, that's something to think about.

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living: Great Environment, Staffing Concerns"
Our time here has been mostly good. The place looks nice and clean. Most of the staff is great, but some need more training and oversight, especially overnight. The Care Unit seems short-staffed for handling certain patients. They offer lots of activities and events. Food is good. The management is friendly, helpful, and cooperative with families.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Improvements Underway, Responsive Staff"
My relative's doing great. Took a bit to adjust. Now she's using her walker confidently. Food could be better, but they're making changes. Nurses and aides are attentive and quick to help.

"Clean, friendly staff, good food, but storage and welcome delay"
Things are going pretty well here. It’s very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They offer lots of activities, and I’ve enjoyed the food, which has a good variety. We were supposed to get a storage locker with the room, but there aren't enough right now, so we’re renting a garage instead. New residents get an ambassador to show them around, but this happens a few days after moving in, which could be faster. We chose this place because of its price, location, and homey feel. My parents also liked the chapel.

"Overall Positive Experience with Minor Room for Improvement"
Things are going pretty well. The place is very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They offer lots of activities, and I’ve eaten there several times and been very pleased. The menu has a good variety. We were supposed to get a storage locker with the room, but there aren't enough available right now, so we’re renting a garage for now. New residents get an ambassador to show them around, but that only happens a few days after moving in. It would be nice if that happened a bit sooner. We chose this place for a few reasons, like price and location, but also because it felt more homey compared to our second choice, and my parents really liked the chapel there.
