"Guide Only Concerned with Selling, Not Personal Needs"
The tour guide seemed more like a pushy real estate agent than someone who cared about the inhabitants. The Memory Care section doesn't feel like a home at all. Its 36 rooms are split between two long hallways, and the floor plan is confusing with its many different zones. A person having trouble with their memory could easily get turned around there. They also don't let anyone other than the staff assist their residents, which doesn't seem very accommodating. The person leading the tour wasn't really interested in what my family member needed. It felt like he was more focused on selling an apartment than understanding our concerns. He didn't seem open to answering questions about how my relative's care would be managed. Sure, the place is decked out and has lots of space for different group activities. That's great for people in the early phases of Dementia or Alzheimer's. But if your loved one is more advanced, they might just get lost. In hindsight, it feels more like it's designed for independent senior living.

"Disappointing Tour at Assisted Living Facility Lacking Personalized Care"
The tour guide acted more like a pushy real estate agent than someone who genuinely cared about my loved one's needs. The Memory Care area didn't even feel like a home, just a fancy nursing home, with it's 36 units split up between two confusing and impersonal hallways. They scatter the place into six to seven different areas, which would surely confuse someone who struggles with their memory. They don't even allow for a second person to assist their residents. The man leading the tour seemed more interested in selling an apartment than answering any questions about the care my loved one would receive. The facility was well decorated, with him clearly focusing on showing off the bells and whistles. The Memory Care area was very similar to a plain old nursing home. Sure, there were plenty of extra rooms for group activities, but if left alone, my loved one would easily get lost. It seems like the place is designed more for those in the early stages of dementia or Alzheimers. Honestly, it felt more like a place for independent senior living than anything else.

"Large, New, but Inconvenient Assisted Living Tour"
I toured. Good staff, long tour, too big, far rooms.

"I toured this community"
I visited this assisted living facility, and it was okay but quite lengthy. They expect you to explore every room. The staff was helpful and answered my questions. The building was new, which was nice, but it was too big and spread out. There's a massive hallway you have to walk down to get anywhere, and the rooms are far from everything. Unfortunately, my dad didn't qualify because it's income-based. I recommend touring other places before deciding.
