"Mixed Experience at The Waters of Edina Assisted Living"
My mom lives at The Waters of Edina, and her overall experience has been pretty good. The dining service can be slow, and there was confusion initially over ordering half portions. Most staff are well-trained, though a few could improve. The activity calendar is decent but lacks more art options. Despite this, I would recommend this facility to others.

"Overpriced Edina Assisted Living: Nice But Snooty Vibes"
This place is pretty, and there are some cool extras. But it feels too fancy for me, like it's in a snobby area. They call the person at the front desk a "concierge" instead of a "receptionist". It's not worth paying extra to live here when there are better and cheaper places around.

"Mixed Experience at Edina's Assisted Living"
Edina's assisted living facility had a noisy lobby with a waterfall, and the place was so big that I got lost. The rooms were beautiful but quite pricey. The memory care unit, though, was exceptionally nice.

"Friendly staff and good vibe, but slow dining service"
The staff are really nice to our loved ones, making them feel at home. The place has a great vibe when you walk in. The food is fine, but the dining service can be very slow and they make a lot of mistakes. They have activities, but we wish there were more options. Overall, we love The Waters of Edina.

"Assisted living lockdown: residents feel like prisoners, lacking plan."
These are strange times, and places like The Waters are figuring things out. But my sister and others have been stuck in their small rooms for 3 months. Even meals come to them alone. She can't leave, and we can't visit. They'll bring her out for visits through a locked gate, with an appointment. It feels like she's a prisoner just for being old. She asks me, "What did I do to deserve this?" I don't know what to say. The Waters doesn't seem to have a plan. This isn't how people should spend their final years. It's cruel, almost like elder abuse. I will say the staff I've met are nice and kind.

"Exploring a Cozy Community"
I visited this place, and they had cool stuff to do. They bring in speakers for talks. The guide who showed us around was friendly. The place was tidy, but the apartments were a bit cramped.
