"Wellstead: Spacious Rooms, Caring Staff!"

We really liked the room layout and spaciousness at Wellstead. The big windows in our unit were a pleasant surprise. Although we had a few small issues initially, they were quickly resolved. Both my parents love the meals, and the staff, including Housekeeping, were friendly and caring. I'd definitely recommend The Wellstead of Rogers to others!

"Promise doesn't match reality."

They promise a lot but deliver little. Services are lacking.

"Great Supportive Communities"

Assisted living communities provide care and support while preserving independence. They offer help with daily tasks like meals, bathing, and dressing. Residents can socialize through group activities and outings. Overall, a positive experience..

" Neglected Mother at Inadequate Care Facility, No Help from Authorities"

Please, don't move your family member into this residence. My Mom lived in the dementia special cares unit here. They made care routines they didn't even stick to. There's no chance my Mom was helped to the bathroom every 4 or even 2 hours, like the care plan said. She also didn't get drinks every hour like the care plan promised. But the staff wrote in a vouch record every day that they did all that. The one time she was sent to the hospital was when we pushed them to do it. Each hospital trip ended up with her being admitted. We complained to the health department but they did nothing. Even dealing with the health department feels pointless. They just inspect the daily logs, which are filled with lies, and say that the nursing home is fine. They never have enough staff. The staff changes too often.

"Impersonal tour, lacked warmth."

I visited Wellstead for my dad, facility fine, staff distant.

"Improved care, welcoming staff, good food, safe environment."

Things are better at The Wellstead; mom's happier in compatible unit. Staff, care, and food praised; feels safe and cared for.

"Grandma's Dog Dilemma"

We were told Grandma could bring her dog, but now they won't allow it. She's stressed without her furry friend. The staff agrees the dog should stay, but rules changed. Grandma misses her companion!

"Care Home's Broke Promises Resulted in Rapid Decline of Loved One"

WARNING: Do not trust this care home with your vulnerable family members. They made promises that they did not keep. We were promised a special private room in a good area for our dad with Alzheimer's, as well as safe, secure living conditions. We were also told we'd always be updated about our dad's care. However, they put dad in a room where the windows weren't locked or secured, and did not watch him closely. He was able to crawl out of a window and on to the road. After this, they put him in a room with a roommate in a bad area (the kind of area they hide during tours). Even when we objected, they didn't offer us any other options. As our dad's health started to worsen - both physically and mentally - they failed to give him the care he needed. Eventually, he attacked a staff member because he couldn't handle it anyone. They sent him to the ER and then suggested a mental health facility. They still won't accept that our dad's health became so much worse under their care. In less than 7 days, he went from someone who barely seemed like a patient to someone who can barely talk now. Don't trust this place to make the right decisions for your family's care. They'll forget all about you after you sign their contracts. Plus, they're one of the priciest care homes in Minnesota. There are many better and cheaper options out there.

"Not Ideal for My Dad"

I visited The Wellstead of Rogers & Diamondcrest and had a nice tour. However, we decided not to choose it because they have separate stages for different levels of care. I wanted my father to interact with other residents, but this place wasn't the best fit for him.
