Under new management, this assisted living facility has seen five Executive Directors in just one year. Unfortunately, the basic services come at a high cost compared to other independent living communities. It seems that the focus is more on corporate profit rather than thoughtful measures that could benefit independent residents.

"Inconsistent Care in Assisted Living, Great Facility and Location"
My mom and I moved here in July 2020. Everything was really good with the LifeSpark staff. But now, we have CareBuilders. The service is not consistent or sometimes even nonexistent. My mom is 77, and I am 54. The Director of Vernon Terrace and the owner of CareBuilders know about the issues we've had. It's disappointing. If you're considering assisted living care, think twice. However, the facility is nice and offers lots of activities if a resident wants to participate. The location is awesome. I'm worried the Director might not like my post, but I hope she won't do anything in retaliation.

"Quiet, Cozy Assisted Living with Great Amenities"
I visited this place, and it felt calmer and less chaotic than other facilities. The apartments have full kitchens and feel cozy. They offer a shuttle service for residents, which is convenient. The nurses are great, but there might be new staff soon. I recommend Vernon Terrace.

"Missed Virtual Tour Influenced Decision Against Facility"
They didn't show up for my online walkthrough. They apologized and tried to invite me back, but I had already made up my mind. We were also thinking of moving our family member to another state, which also affected my choice not to rebook.

"Good place for mom"
My mother is a new resident and loves her apartment and the Vernon Terrace community. She is already making friends, the residents have been very welcoming. She loves the food and has been on a few outings. We are happy with the choice we made.

Vernon Terrace is really nice and friendly. They listen to us and take care of our needs. The food is tasty and they have lots of different things to do. We haven't had to use the bus yet, but it's nice knowing it's there just in case.

This place is really nice. The people who work here are friendly. My mom had a lot to do while she was here. The food is pretty good. The staff should tell me more about how my mom is doing. I think this place is good for taking care of family members.

"Underwhelming Tour Experience"
I didn't enjoy the tour much. Didn't see a lot, needs nicer decor. It's clean though. Guide was punctual and knew their stuff. Overall, not very welcoming.

It started out really good, but then the employees changed and now they're all just slackers. So often I see the place with no workers anywhere, and the folks living there are hanging out in the kitchen all by themselves. Don't go there until they get better health care.

My mom and I had a great time visiting Vernon Terrace. Marti showed us around, explained everything, and answered our questions nicely. We liked the place a lot, and the rent was reasonable and affordable.

The place might be okay and the cost seems alright, but I think they only offer living where you're pretty much on your own. Someone from the management got in touch with me, though.
