"Great Care with Communication Challenges"
My family member thinks the staff has communication problems. I appreciate the traditional care center here—it's wonderful! I've recommended this community to others. While it doesn't match the transitional care, it's still good.

"Clean, Friendly Assisted Living in Beautiful Setting"
Walker Methodist community has a great location and a nice building. The staff's friendliness and cleanliness impressed me. It's a beautiful place to live, especially during the pandemic when they constantly disinfected everything and checked temperatures.

"Great Staff and Spacious Apartment"
I hoped for a friendly welcome when my loved one moved in. Although she's still finding her way around, the staff has been great. The spacious apartment and step-in shower are pluses. I'd recommend this place.

"Declining Service at Westwood Ridge: Patient Care Overlooked"
I've been living at Westwood Ridge for almost five weeks now. At the start, the care was top-notch, but as more residents moved in, it feels like the staff count hasn't kept up. I frequently wait more than 15 minutes after pressing the call button, and I'm often left attached to an empty IV for hours, to the point where I have to disconnect it myself. I've even had to change my own bandages because the nurse left for the day and decided I didn't need a change. They won't buy the necessary supplies for a proper bandage change. They use the cheapest tape and are simply not willing to invest in better quality. In conclusion, I'd advise continuing your search for a facility that prioritizes patient care over profits.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short Amid COVID and Care Issues"
COVID rules made me unsure. Thought it'd be great for Mom. But lockdowns hit, and she got worse. Walker's appeal vanished. Then, Mom fell post-lockdown. Services started okay but led to multiple hospital trips. Caregiver didn't share important info with paramedics. Nurse's timing announcing Mom's care needs was awful. Can't recommend Walker.

"Kind and Welcoming Assisted Living!"
I moved to this community, and it's been quite a change. After living at home with loved ones and neighbors, adjusting to a new place can be tough. But overall, this facility is good, and I'm satisfied. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and the staff is helpful. Moving in with a loved one can make the transition easier. I recommend it!

"Adjusting to New Community: A Good Experience"
Moving to this place was a big change for me. I used to live close to family and friends, so adapting to a new home was tough. But this facility is nice, and I'm happy with it. People here are friendly and helpful. I've had a positive experience so far. My advice is to move in with a loved one if you can. It makes adjusting easier. Overall, I'm doing well here, and I'd recommend it.

"Comfortable Community with Minor Safety Concerns; Welcoming Atmosphere for All"
My husband and I are doing okay here. It's still taking time to get used to because we miss our home. The people here have been nice to us. My only worry is about the sidewalks and parking lots; they're not even, and I'm scared someone might trip. But besides that, they offer lots of different meals and things to do. And they're cool with dogs, which is nice. When I visited, I felt pretty relaxed walking around; everyone was friendly.

"Assisted Living Review: Helpful Staff, Concerns About Alcohol Events"
She was a bit disorganized at first, but she managed to answer all my questions. You gotta pay for meals and stuff separately. One thing that worried me is they serve alcohol on Wednesdays and sometimes have parties with alcohol. My mom's trying to get better and has had problems with drinking.

"Nice place to explore"
I visited this community when considering care options for a family member. The place was clean, and the staff I met were friendly and professional. However, my loved one needed more care than they offer here. Still, it's worth checking out for those interested in assisted living.

"Assisted Living Facility: A Decent Option, Could Improve Personal Care"
The place is okay. We expected more personal attention besides meals. Sometimes they forget showers and such. It's clean and quiet, which we appreciate. I'd say it's really clean.

"Not Sure About Handling Sliding Scale"
I’m unsure about how they handle the sliding scale. There’s no nurse in the assisted living building, and it’s very independent.

"Room for Improvement in Assisted Living Facility"
This place is okay. They have some good activities and the food is decent, but the staff could be more attentive. My grandma lives there and sometimes she feels ignored. The rooms are clean, but they could use some updates. Overall, it's not bad, but it could be better.

"Nice, But Extra Costs Add Up"
