"Quality Care and Activities Make This Assisted Living Exceptional"

The food here is really good and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have fun things to do. My mom lives in memory care. They took her to see butterflies at the Butterfly House. During Christmas, they took her to see the lights. I think other people would like this place too.

"Compassionate Support During Mom’s Final Days"

There were some issues with the care staff that never got fixed. Mainly, it was about medicine distribution and setting up basic care routines. We understand they were short-staffed. However, during our mom’s final days, the administration and staff were incredibly helpful. They assisted us with everything we needed, and their kindness touched us.

"Terrible Cleanliness and Service at Assisted Living Facility"

The first week of temporary living at the assisted living facility seemed good under the watch of management, but it all went bad after that. The workers from memory care were hardly found at the nurse's station and could often be seen chatting about their personal stuff no matter what time it was or which day. The tablecloth in the private room was super dirty. There was a mix of clean and dirty clothes thrown all over the bed. Broken glass lay on the windowsill. Our family saw and told the workers about a leak in the room. When we spoke to a nurse, we were assured that they would solve the problem but they didn't. We had to get a visitor to make sure the room got cleaned up. We got wrong bills and were asked to pay extra for a two-week stay after we moved the resident. We had to pay over $[removed] for this stay. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. I have told medical experts about our stay here.

"Mixed Feelings About Community Location"

We liked this community, but it wasn't in the best location for our loved one.

"Spacious and Well-Priced Memory Care with Room for Improvement"

We picked Allegro because I really liked how much space there was on the memory care floor. There's plenty of room for residents to move around, and the activity and dining rooms are big and comfortable. The rooms themselves are also really nice. I also liked their pricing—they don't add extra costs; everything is included in the monthly rent. They're having trouble hiring staff, like everyone else, but I did have an issue with them not changing my loved one's sheets regularly. I talked to them about it, and it's been okay since then. I think it was because they didn't have enough staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend them to others.

"Positive feedback: Great activities and food in comforting assisted living environment."

I miss my home, but if you can't live alone anymore, this place is great. There are lots of activities and the food is excellent. What else could you ask for?

"Smooth Transition and Excellent Care at Allegro Assisted Living"

I moved to Allegro, an assisted living place in Richmond Heights, MO, recently. I picked Allegro after looking at a few places because the residents had great things to say about the staff, other residents, food, activities, and medical care. So far, Allegro has lived up to those reviews. The staff, especially [name removed], has been really great. [Name removed] helped me move from my old home to Allegro, and I couldn't have managed without them. The therapy staff, [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed], also deserve a mention for doing excellent work. Not everything has been perfect - it took a couple of weeks to adjust to the new routine. But now that I'm getting used to it, I'm sure I made the right decision.

"The facility had cleanliness issues and limited activities."

The common areas were super clean, but the personal room cleaning was really bad. The boss would definitely get 5 stars, and the young guys who ran activities for memory care would too. But the regular staff would only get 2 stars at most. The food and dining services were really poor, and the activities were limited due to COVID restrictions.
