"Bristol Manor Neglects Residents and Needs State Intervention"
Personally, I'd never place my family members at Bristol Manor of Pleasant Hill! The residents aren't getting enough to eat. They're not keeping the rooms clean, and they don't do the laundry. I think the state needs to deal with this place. The higher-ups just don't seem to care!

"Bristol Manor Review Summary"
The biggest issue we've faced at Bristol Manor is the constant change in management. It's confusing when one person says one thing, and then another says something different. This has made things quite challenging. Although my loved one is content there, the frequent staff changes lead to rule changes that upset the residents. I've contacted corporate multiple times, but nothing seems to get resolved. During the pandemic, we haven't been able to visit, which makes our loved ones feel isolated. Despite these problems, if you're looking for a family-like environment, Bristol Manor might be a good choice. Just be aware that management turnover happens often.

"Not Quite the Right Fit"
I visited this community, and it was just okay. The staff and residents interacted well, but the carpet needed cleaning. Housekeeping could improve. Overall, not the right fit for us.

"Unfit Assisted Living Facility; Inadequate Care For Elderly"
My grandma spent some time at this awful place a few years back. She was dealing with diabetes, dementia, and osteoarthritis. The food offered wasn't suitable for diabetic patients, and even worse, they didn't serve enough to keep the older folks satisfied. Her bathroom was always messy and I found myself having to clean it. I visited her multiple times at varying hours and I noticed staff members acting cruel, shouting at the elderly residents. The final straw was when I found one of them yelling at my grandma. I decided then and there to remove her from the facility. Overall, the services were all terrible. I strongly advise against considering this place.

"Inadequate Care and Mean Staff at this Dreadful Facility!"
My mom was unfortunate to stay in this awful establishment. As a sufferer of diabetes, dementia, and osteoporosis, she needed special care. However, the food they served her wasn't suitable for a diabetic. They didn't even provide enough to keep an elderly person satisfied. Her restroom remained distastefully filthy to a point where I had to clean it myself. I paid several visits at varying times. On more than one occasion, I noticed a staff member shouting at and being cruel towards the older residents. The final straw was when I heard her screaming at my mom. I decided to take her home with me. This place's services were all-around dreadful. I would strongly advise against anyone considering this place.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Activities, Food, and Maintenance"
This place doesn't have activities unless residents do them themselves. The rules keep changing to help the staff. I asked for a copy of the rules, but still haven't got one. The food is awful. They serve cheap stuff like fish sticks, generic chips, hot dogs, and cold cuts. Many times, residents have to leave to get decent food, if they have transportation. Those who can't leave have no choice. Lots of repairs are needed, but it takes 2 to 8 weeks for maintenance to show up. Sometimes, they never fix things. Staffing is a problem, there's a big turnover. My loved one won't be staying much longer!

"Skip this assisted living with poor food and maintenance."
This place has no group activities - residents have to keep themselves busy. The rules keep shifting to favor the staff. Even after asking for a copy of these rules many times, I got no response. The food is not good at all, with the menu filled with cheap things like fish sticks, no-name chips, hot dogs, and cold slices of meat. To get a decent meal, residents often must go out provided they have a ride. If they don't, they're stuck. There are a lot of things that need fixing here and it can take them two to eight weeks to get around to it. Sometimes, they never do. Plus, they can't seem to keep their staff because people are always leaving. Bottom line - We're getting our family member out soon.

"Assisted Living Review: Bristol Manor of Pleasant Hill (4 Stars)"
The food at Bristol Manor Of Pleasant Hill needs improvement. They often serve hot dogs and low-quality food despite having a bigger budget. Cleaning can be inconsistent due to short staffing. Hiring more staff could improve thoroughness. Mom took time to adjust but is adapting. Overall, it's been a positive experience.
