"Small, Caring Assisted Living for Medicaid Residents"
Bristol Manor of Raymore is the only place I found for my Dad, who's on Medicaid, in our area. It's nice because it's small, with only 12 residents. I like the staff; they're really kind. It's good that they accept Medicaid.

"Communication and Management Could Improve at Affordable Assisted Living"
My brother is the one staying there and he has a mental illness, but it seems like they don't tell the clients much about what's happening. For instance, the manager and her boyfriend live there too. My brother says they go to an amusement park every day. I've tried to explain to him that maybe she gets vacation days or comp days when she does that, but it bothers him. I get that he doesn't need to know, but it would be nice if they let the clients know when the manager is out. For such a small and affordable place, I think they generally do a good job.

"Limited Activities and Food, but Affordable with Medicaid"
My dad moved here because it's the only place nearby that takes Medicaid. It's really tiny, only 12 people can live here, but they have more places like it. Even though it's supposed to be independent living, they still help him with his medicine and laundry. He complains about a lot of the food being reheated. And there's not much to do here.

"Small Community with Home Cooked Meals Needs More Care"
We visited this place. It's a small place with few people living there. We were glad that the staff answered our questions. We didn't like seeing some folks smoking outside. They serve homemade meals here. This place could use some help in taking care of and looking after the people living here. Families might think about visiting this place.

"Mixed Experience at Large Assisted Living Community"
We toured the place. The carpet needed cleaning, but staff-resident interaction was good. Lots of residents here, though not our ideal spot.

"“Caring Management and Clean Facilities”"
The new management is great. They really care about the residents. Before, there were lots of changes in management. The place is clean, and the food is good. My mom has no complaints.

"Facility Fails to Prevent Severe Dehydration"
My mom got mixed up and quit drinking water. The place didn’t watch her right, so she kept not drinking and got super dehydrated, like emergency-level bad. But instead of stepping in or dialing for an ambulance, they just rang me up and said I had to come get her in one hour!

"Mixed Experience at Bristol Manor: Clean Facility, Few Activities"
We've liked Bristol Manor of Raymore. They could add more activities, though. Facility clean, overall good experience.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living"
It’s okay, but it has some problems. They don’t do much, and there aren’t any real activities. My loved one is safe, but not happy there. No major complaints. It’s reasonably priced, and the care is good. The food isn’t great, doesn’t look appetizing, and meal times are informal. The staff is friendly, and they keep it clean.

"Friendly staff, lacked cozy feel, higher price, businesslike atmosphere."
We visited this place while considering care for my loved one. It seemed nice and staff were friendly, but felt too businesslike. It lacked the cozy atmosphere we wanted and was pricier.
