"Negative review due to lack of care and broken promises."
These folks don't follow through with their promises. I had a family member staying at this residence and I was there every day. Many times, I had to find a staff member and remind them to do things that they had originally agreed to do when we signed up. They didn't look in on him regularly, and whenever I asked them to help him with bathing, they'd roll their eyes. The only friendly staff was the woman in charge of activities - she was awesome. But the rest of the staff just lingered in their seats – they didn't even wear face masks. We had to hire a hospice worker just to make sure he received the care he required, which the assisted living facility should have provided. It was a rotten experience and I strongly advise against using this service for your loved ones.

"Assisted Living: Great Experience with Some Food Concerns"
My experience has been great so far. The assisted living facility came just when my family needed it, and it's been a godsend. The Head Nurse is informative and keeps communication open with our family. The staff takes good care of my loved one, and I haven't had any concerns or complaints in the last eight months. Residents can enjoy field trips, sing-alongs, celebrations, and more. The food looks and smells appetizing, and the community accommodates dietary restrictions. However, my loved one thinks they serve too much food.

"Assisted Living: Great Community, Spotty Daily Meals"
I really enjoyed staying at this place, but I wasn't happy with how they handled meals. They didn't provide food every day, which was disappointing. I expected to have meals provided regularly, not just for a few times during the day.

"Mixed feelings about Brookdale Creve Couer, overall satisfactory experience"
We picked Brookdale Creve Couer because we visited and I knew someone whose parent lived here so I had a referral. Also, the salesperson is super friendly and thorough, and you can ask her anything. Right now, they're short on staff in the dining room, so it takes a while to get food, and when it finally arrives, it's cold. They really care about keeping residents safe and secure, especially during covid. If there are any problems, the people who work in the office are quick to help. I think I'd recommend this place to others who are looking.

"A Friendly, Fun Community with Great Staff!"
The community has tons of fun activities and music throughout the week. They even have a pool and a card room. The staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful. I’d definitely recommend this place to others.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I've visited this company in Ohio, and my first impression is that it might be too large, a bit too fancy on the outside, and possibly too expensive for what we need—unless all care is covered in their pricing. We'll ask more questions.

"Elegant Assisted Living with Memory Care Options"
My godmother stayed at Brookdale for more than 2 years. It's mainly for people who want to live independently. You can pay for extra help by the hour, like getting dressed in the morning. But as her dementia got worse, she had to move to a memory care facility. At Brookdale, there's lots happening, and they have entertainment every night. It's a place with a touch of elegance, but you'll need to pay for it.
