"Mixed Experience at Candlelight Lodge Memory Care Facility"
I want to talk about the memory care residence at Candlelight Lodge. For someone who can easily get in and out of a bathtub, I might rate it higher. During my tour showed me around. She had a trainee with her. I also meet who's in charge of therapy, and the organizes activities. Everyone on staff was nice, and the place was clean. The residents seemed happy too. But, sadly, Candlelight Lodge wasn't right for my husband. He couldn't shower properly there; he'd have to step over the tub's side, and there was only a plastic stool available. The therapy room was tiny and didn't have much equipment. The facility always has Certified Nurse Assistants or Med Techs around, but there aren't many nurses. They only have a Director of Nursing, an LPN, and Eva, who's an RN. A gerontologist or a nurse practitioner visits every two weeks and is on call in between. The garden was nice, but besides that, Candlelight Lodge didn't meet my husband's needs.
