"Nice place, a bit older"
This was a nice community. It was a little older, but I would still consider it for my loved one.

"Century Pines' Lack of Communication and Care During Lock-down Frustrates Families"
We're really upset with Century Pines during the lock-down. We can't seem to get any updates on how our loved one's doing now that we can't visit in person. Whenever we call, they promise to get back in touch, but they never do! It seems like the staff is using the lock-down as an excuse to slack off and not do their jobs well. We're totally in the dark about what's happening there. It's just sad and heart-wrenching to see our dad's health getting worse due to a sense of loneliness (we can only see him through a window) caused by this isolation. The residents can't even share meals or hang out. It's just lonely for our loved one there. We've thought about moving dad, and even called other facilities. Interestingly, other assisted living facilities aren't as strict and they do let families visit, even if it's from a safe distance.

"Century Pines Assisted Living: Mixed Experience with Room for Improvement"
In our experience with Century Pines, there are both positive and negative aspects. Let me break it down for you in simpler terms: - The Good: - Century Pines is a small facility, which can be nice. - Most of the staff members are kind. - If you encounter any issues, you can directly discuss them with the owner. - The landscaping, although not perfectly maintained, is still pretty. - Residents have sliding glass doors in their rooms, allowing them to go outside and enjoy the property. - The Not-So-Good: - The food options are disappointing. Despite being promised two choices for every meal, we've never actually seen that. Lunchtime meals have been consistently bad. - Residents wait for their meals without being asked their preferences. - Kitchen staff behavior has been less than friendly. - Communication with families is lacking, especially during the recent virus situation. - If your loved one doesn't have a phone, the community phone system can be frustrating to use, especially on weekends when the staff isn't as kind. Overall, we appreciate the location, but there’s room for improvement at Century Pines

"Attentive staff, older building, meets expectations for assisted living."
I visited this place while looking for my loved one. It's an older home with lots of bedrooms. There were some smells in certain parts, probably because of the age. The nurse who showed us around was really good at answering our questions and seemed very knowledgeable about the care my loved one would need. We saw the rooms; some were larger, maybe big enough for two people, but most were small and for one person only. Overall, there wasn't anything really negative about this place. They met my expectations as an average facility.

"No way, even for my pet! Very gloomy and antiquated."
This place is totally bleak and old-fashioned. I wouldn't dream of letting my pet stay here.

"Great Choice for Dad"
The staff at Century Pines Assisted Living have been really caring and friendly towards my dad. The facility is always clean and well-kept. The food looks great from what we’ve seen. We went there for breakfast once, and my dad had no complaints. When we took a tour, it seemed like the best place for him, and we're very pleased.

"Owner Suggests Fraud; Facility Poorly Maintained"
I visited this place regarding my dad. The first thing I noticed was that it wasn't neat. I spoke to the owner who started off decent but then started suggesting that he could fake government forms for benefits. Needless to say, I left and didn't reconsider.

"WATCH OUT: Unclean Facility with Untrustworthy Owner"
I visited this place looking for somewhere my dad could stay. My first thoughts weren't good because the place wasn't clean. I talked to the owner who initially seemed friendly, but then he started to mention how he could lie on government papers for benefits. You can bet I left there quickly and didn't look back.

"Mixed Feelings About Century Pines Assisted Living"
The people who work here are usually kind to my family and to my mom. At Century Pines Assisted Living, instead of a cart that brings medicine to the residents, they have a room where everyone goes together to get their medicine. Sometimes, they have to wait a long time in line, anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes, which seems too long. I think there must be a better way to do this. That's my main concern about this place. Overall, most of the staff are nice to my mom, and she gets good care. The building is old but clean, so it feels more like an old hotel than a hospital. I like that.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living; complex layout, friendly owner."
We checked out the place. It seemed kinda confusing for folks with memory problems. The person who runs it was super friendly though. I reckon it's alright for folks with different needs.
