"Caring Staff, Improving Food, Some Turnover"
The staff at this place is really nice, loving, and caring. But sometimes they change staff a lot. The food is made to fit each person's taste, and I can see it's getting better because my mom is gaining weight!

"Caring Atmosphere Despite Flaws"
I really liked how much they cared about each person there. The staff seemed happy, and turnover was low. But there was one worker who wasn't good at helping people in memory care. My mom got upset with her, and she was asked to leave. Other workers confirmed my suspicions that the worker wasn't well-trained. Despite that, we wish we could bring my mom back because the caring atmosphere made up for any flaws.

"Disappointing Care at Assisted Living Facility"
When you first bring your family member here, they’ll promise you they’ll take great care of them. They’ll say you don’t have to stress about anything—just come by for a visit and relax. But that’s not how it is at all. I ran into all sorts of trouble. There weren’t even forks for eating, no one to help chop up food, and at night, it seemed like nobody was looking after the residents. I set up a camera, so I saw firsthand how awful things were. Honestly, I can’t find a single positive thing to say to anyone about this place.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience Near Home"
I really wanted a place near my house to be able to visit my mom often. This community was in a good spot for that. The cost was okay too. But when I first checked it out, they promised lots of little snacks and things to do, which didn't happen. On the bright side, the hospice care was really good. But like other places, the staff seemed unprepared and there weren't enough of them.

"Friendly staff, but unable to meet medical needs adequately."
The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, because my dad's health, especially his diabetes, was getting worse, they couldn't provide enough care for him. We had to move him to another place that could give him hospice care. If his needs hadn't increased, I think he would still be there.

"Awful Food, Poor Care at St. Louis Hills"
Our family had a pretty bad experience here. They just weren't able to look after our relative the right way, and the food was really terrible. We wouldn't suggest going to St. Louis Hills.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living and Memory Care Facilities"
Like all places, they have pros and cons. You need to consider your family's needs. Overall, it was good - I liked the relaxed atmosphere. There were many activities and people around. We considered assisted living and memory care. I wasn't impressed with their memory care unit. It didn't feel welcoming or friendly. The units were very small. In hindsight, larger rooms might have encouraged more socializing. St. Louis Hills was affordable. Cost was a significant factor for us.

"Friendly Staff and Overall Good Experience"
This place is nice. My parents struggled a bit to get involved, which is partly their fault. But overall, it’s been good. The staff is easy to talk to, and I’m happy with how they take care of things.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
During our visit, we found dust and crumbs in our loved one's room. We had to clean it ourselves since housekeeping hadn't been there for a while. Meals are great, but activities are limited. The cost doesn't match the value due to high staff turnover.

"Convenient Assisted Living with Shuttle Service"
The community is handy—it's near a bus line, and they provide a shuttle. I'd suggest this place to others.

"Limited Space and Staff, Adequate Food, Not Ideal for Long-Term"
I wouldn't suggest this place for a long stay. The rooms felt a bit cramped. The meals were just okay. My mom stayed in the unit for people with memory issues. The staff seemed to struggle to understand the residents, and there weren't enough of them.

"Convenient Location Matters"
I toured the place, but it's too far for me. I need to take my husband to the doctor often, so a closer option would be better. It's important for our family to visit him easily too.

"Welcoming Assisted Living Community with Caring Staff and Activities"
My mom's still getting used to this place, but things are going pretty smoothly. I can tell she's getting good care. The staff here is nice and they take care of her needs really well. The place is clean and tidy, and they keep it that way. They offer lots of fun things for the residents to do. The food's mostly good too. I'd definitely suggest this place, it's nice.

"Cozy yet compact: Provision Living review"
I really enjoyed my time at Provision Living at St Louis Hills. The people were super nice, and the place was really pleasant. But, I wasn't a fan of how small the rooms were, they felt just like studio apartments. Except for that, I had a great experience overall.

This place is really nice and fancy. It cost a bit too much for us, though. The staff I talked to were friendly, and everything looked clean. The food seemed tasty.

"Good Care Offered but Facility Needs Brighter, Uplifting Updates"
A neighbor told me this place was great for her mom. It was kinda dark in there and didn't have much space outside. They're fixing it up so hopefully, it'll be brighter and nicer with new carpets soon. This place used to be a hotel, so it kinda feels like you're still in one. The staff were friendly and sweet with the residents. I need to chat with my neighbor again to know more about her experience.

"Lackluster care, pricey accommodations at assisted living"
It's not exactly bad, but it's far from awesome as well. Though she's quite independent, she's seriously visually impaired. The place really fails at offering her anything to do. There's no one to help her out with any activities. The options are also sparse - it's mostly bingo and the occasional craft. Plus, there's absolutely no personal attention. Nobody comes to bring her to the social events. It's not that she can read the notifications. For years now, I've been requesting them to check up on her during hot weather because high temperatures make her sick and disoriented. I've visited her room more than dozen times when it was often hotter than 85 degrees. She controls the temperature in her own place, but when she feels "cold," she turns off the AC and ends up forgetting about it. The cost for such an efficiency apartment, with a dirty carpet and a disgusting bathtub, plus meals makes no sense- over $3000 a month. The facility's two ancient, rickety elevators are hot and tight, making it almost impossible for residents with a wheelchair or walker to step over the threshold.

"Reimbursement Wait Unpleasant Experience - Provision Living Review"
I'm not too happy with Provision Living at St. Louis Hills. My mom was supposed to move in under level 2 care, but she needed memory care right away. Unfortunately, they didn't have any openings for memory care, so we couldn't keep her there. I've been waiting for a reimbursement, but no one will call me back about it. It's been three weeks, and I'm frustrated with their lack of response. I was considering bringing her back when they had availability, but now I'm unsure since they won't even return my calls. The building is old, although the apartment she was going to live in was nice with new carpet and paint. They did waive the 30-day notice, which I appreciate. Overall, I don't want to completely criticize them, but this experience has been unpleasant.

"Not the Best Fit for High-Care Individuals"
Our time with Provision Living had both good and bad parts. It seems like a pretty nice place that could be good for someone needing not so much care. But for our family member, it wasn't a good fit. I believe they promised more care than they could give. We had to move our loved one to a place that could offer more help soon after we moved them in here.

"Great memory care with friendly staff and good food"
Our mom lives in the memory care unit here. Whenever we visit, she's always dressed nicely, and her bed is made. She can’t do these things on her own anymore. The staff is friendly, and she finishes all her meals, saying the food is good. Her room is much bigger than at other places we saw. We think it’s a really nice place.

"Helpful Assistance"
They were really helpful in getting things set up quickly, making the transition smooth. They're very polite. My aunt has dementia, and she's a bit different, so I'm not sure they've fully adjusted their care to her needs yet. But it's only been a few weeks, so they're still figuring things out.

"Great care and adjustment after two weeks at Provision Living"
After two weeks of Mom living in the Memory Unit at Provision Living, we’re really impressed with the caring and professional staff. They are kind and always go out of their way to help the residents. Mom is starting to interact with them and adjust well to her new home. We are so thankful for this place for her.

"More space desired, friendly staff, room review pending, assessment scheduled."
I wish there were more open spaces here. I didn't see any activities led by staff when I visited, except during meal times. But the staff I met were really nice. I came back on Sunday for dinner and walked around to have another look. The concierge was super friendly, open, and helpful. I still need to check out the rooms one more time. I'm bringing my dad for an assessment, lunch, and a tour.

"Nice staff but small rooms at this non-apartment-like facility"
This place isn't like your typical apartment. The rooms are quite small, only fitting a small bed. The closet isn't much bigger and there's no access to an outdoor area from inside for the residents to get some fresh air. On the bright side, Niccole was a sweet lady and provided lots of helpful information. The staff overall were friendly too. When I visited, though, it wasn't as lively as I'd expected, since the residents weren't involved in any activities.
