"Caring Staff and Peaceful Atmosphere at Chestnut Glenn"
Our Mom has been at Chestnut Glenn for almost 3 months. Our family is really impressed with the care and love she has received. When we entered the home for the first time, we felt such peace. We love the activities, which include everyone. The one-on-one concern for our Mom is great. We have no complaints about any of the workers or staff. They have gone out of their way to be kind and good to our Mom, giving us girls such relief. It's comforting to know our Mom is in good hands and being taken care of well.

"Community Welcoming, But Unable to Accommodate Medical Needs"
When we visited, the community seemed nice. The people I talked to were friendly. However, they couldn't accept my mom because of her medical requirements.

"Community Lacks Resident Engagement"
We visited this community. We didn’t like that the residents weren’t active, and we wanted a place that engaged with them. The community appeared clean, and the staff was friendly. We sought a community that actively involved residents.

"Mixed Feelings About Community Location, Helpful Staff and Information"
I liked visiting this community during my tour. The staff were friendly and showed us around. They answered our questions and knew what services they provided. It was all on one floor, but the location wasn't right for us. Having the A Place For Mom Information was useful during our visit.

"Pleasant Home, Inconvenient Layout"
The place felt cozy and just like home. The folks living there looked super glad, and I saw lots of them chuckling and enjoying themselves. But the way the building is set up isn’t the best. It bugged me that you’ve got to stroll through where everyone eats to reach the rooms.

"Bad Care: Nice Building, Uninvolved Staff, Residents Ignored"
A bunch of us from my family went together to check out this place for people who struggle with their memory. We all thought the staff was a letdown. The place itself was pretty good, but the staff didn't seem involved, except for this woman named Stacy. The whole time we were there, the staff just hung out in the nurse's station. No one was with the people living there. One staff person eventually came out when someone living there knocked on the glass. They told the resident to just sit on their couch and shut up. Plenty of residents were stuck in their rooms. We didn't think it was a good place for our mom.

"Positive Experience at Chestnut Glenn Assisted Living"
Our experience at Chestnut Glenn has been positive so far. It's a nice place, and the staff are friendly and professional. Dad enjoys the food, and the activities program is fairly good, though a monthly schedule would be helpful for planning.

"- "Understaffed, unprofessional facility with lacking care and unfriendly staff.""
We recently moved my mom from this establishment after nearly two and a half years. Staff? Seems like there were none. It's a depressing place. Consider places other than Chestnut Glen Assisted Living. It seems they have no idea what Dementia means or Assisted Living for that matter. The employees all seem disgruntled, will leave work to do the most trivial things like burying a cat, and the overall professionalism seems lacking. The owner, Mr. [], appears not to care at all. Their new Director is frankly, laughable - he claims that it's an honor to care for our parents. What a blatant lie. The person at the front desk is extremely unfriendly. And when you call to check on your mother, you can't get them to answer the phone. I wouldn't even trust them to care for my dog.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Environment, but Resident Concerns"
Things have been mostly good, but a few bumps lately. The place is really nice, staff are super friendly and helpful. It's clean, and the food is great. Our main worries are other residents.

"Assisted Living Falls Short in Care and Activities"
For a small community, there's not enough personal attention or activities. Hygiene declined after moving from another facility. Staff lack training for tough situations. Food is not impressive. Over-medication led to hospitalization. Regretful move. Independent seniors fare better at Chestnut Glenn.
