"Pleased with care, spacious rooms, and great meals."

Our parent has lived in the facility for years, and we are pleased with the care they receive. The rooms are spacious, and the home-cooked meals with large portions are appreciated. Any questions we’ve had have been answered, and any needs have been taken care of. We’re glad we found this place.

"Spacious Rooms and Happy Residents"

We visited and picked this place. We liked the location and spacious rooms. Our family member is content there.

"Limited Safety Measures for Memory Care Residents"

Assisted living and memory care residents share a 12-bed facility. During fire drills with loud alarms and flashing lights, memory care residents must find their way to the correct fire exit. Unfortunately, this facility wouldn't be suitable for someone with advanced Alzheimer's who often needs guidance to function in a home environment. Additionally, there's no secure outdoor area for memory care residents who tend to wander.

"Limited Assistance, No Availability as of 4/21/18"

This place feels more like living with a bit of help for older folks. Plus, they didn't have any rooms available as of April 21, 2018.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

My dad stayed at this place for more than a year. At first, we really liked it. The “apartment” was great for the price, and it was always clean. The staff would come in, wipe the countertops, and do the laundry. I even thought of Sherry as part of our family. But things changed in the last 6 months. My dad went to the hospital several times without me knowing, even though I’m his POA (Power of Attorney). I kept asking Sherry to give me a heads up, but she ignored my requests. We noticed that Sherry was getting annoyed with my dad for falling or complaining about not feeling well. Before we moved my dad out of there, a home healthcare nurse told a family member that my dad had been taken to the hospital by ambulance. I called and asked for a call back, but it never happened until I contacted the main headquarters. Sherry left a message on my phone, complaining that my dad had soiled himself and the floor, and she was too busy to call me back. If your family member can take care of themselves, this place isn’t terrible. But if they need special attention, think twice.

"Consider Elsewhere if Loved Ones Require Special Care"

My dad lived in this place for over a year. At the beginning, we really liked it. The 'apartment' was great for the cost and always tidy. Workers there would clean the counter tops and the laundry was always clean and neatly folded. I considered Sherry almost like family. However, things got sour in the past six months. Dad was taken to the hospital a few times without me knowing about it, despite me being his power of attorney. I kept telling She to give me a heads up but my requests were ignored repeatedly. We began noticing that she was getting upset at Dad for falling or for saying that he felt unwell. Before we moved Dad out, a family member was told by a nurse visiting from a home healthcare service that Dad had been rushed to the hospital again. I phoned them and asked for a callback but got nothing until I finally called their main office. The phone message I still have from her is about Dad having an accident and messing the floor, and how she was too wrapped up to call me back. If your relative can take care of themselves, this place isn't too shabby. If they need special care, don't even think about it.
