"Disappointed Experience at Maranatha Assisted Living Facility"
Always make sure to read your contract carefully for hidden details. If your loved one is quite independent and needs rides to activities, be cautious. My mom has been left stranded multiple times, which is disappointing because social interaction was a big reason we chose this place. However, Maranatha failed to inform us about utility bills for six months, leaving my mom with a hefty $2k debt on her fixed income. Despite frequent maintenance visits, no one bothered to inform her about the outstanding bills. Now, I'm stuck with the bill, and I wouldn't recommend she at the Village to anyone.

"New, updated facility with good housing, activities, and friendly staff"
This place has really nice housing. It's all new and modern, and the apartments they offer are a good size for what you pay. They have activities to do, which is nice, especially with Covid making everything hard. The newsletter they send out could be better at letting us know what's going on, though. Sometimes it takes a little while for the staff to get back to us when we have questions. But when we talk to them face to face, they're always nice and they fix any problems we have right away.

"Mixed Experience: Open Setting, Extra Costs, Best Location"
This place has lots of bad reviews and not so great ratings. It's like living in a condo, which can be nice and private. The price seems okay, but watch out because they charge for everything. Seriously, everything costs extra here. If you need medical help often, it could end up costing you a lot. But hey, at least it's in a good location.
