"Mixed experiences with communication."
The assisted living facility is decent. The staff is friendly and competent, but communication needs improvement.

"Extra fees for reminders and laundry at Rock Island Village."
Rock Island Village takes good care of residents. They try their best to look after my loved one. However, there are extra monthly fees for meal reminders and laundry. I expected these to be included in the basic cost.

"Quality Home Experience at Rock Island Village"
Feeling tired from searching for a place where my Mom can thrive in her elder years, I was so grateful to find Rock Island Village. As soon as I walked in, the calm and spacious atmosphere brought relief. The natural light streaming in made it feel like a 5-star hotel lobby. During the tour, I saw cheerful residents and clean, spacious apartments designed for safety. They even allow pets and have staff dedicated to walking dogs and taking them to vet appointments. The food is gourmet quality, and the staff is friendly and caring. It's a quality home experience for my Mom—I wouldn't go anywhere else!

"Understaffed Facility Struggles to Care for its Residents"
This place might be decent someday, but for now, they don't have enough workers. Whenever I visit my friend who lives there, it seems like there's nobody around to help. One time, they even told me that only one assistant was looking after more than 40 people. I wouldn't tell anyone to go there.
