"Challenging Layout for Seniors with Mobility Issues"
This large assisted living facility offers independent living and a floor with some assistance. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with arthritis, knee, hip, or walking issues, or those experiencing mental decline due to its extensive hallways and confusing layout.

"Higher Cost, Fewer Amenities: Not Our Choice"
The tour was good, and everything seemed fine based on what we saw. However, it cost more for fewer amenities, so we chose not to go with them.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Our family visited the assisted living place and saw the memory care unit. It was bustling with activity, and the residents seemed happy and involved. We worried it might be too much for our parents because it was so busy, but the staff were kind and helpful.

"Great Transition During Pandemic, Helpful Point Person Made It Easy"
It worked out really well for us. We moved during the pandemic, and they made everything easier given the situation. They gave us a main contact person for information, which was really important for us. This helped us communicate better about my loved one. They made the move to assisted living smooth. Having a contact person and supportive staff made it even simpler.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
The nurses were nice. The lady at the front desk could be friendlier. I think this place is good for people who can do more things on their own. If your loved one needs a lot of help, it might be better to look somewhere else.

"Pleasant Garden and Trail at Senior Star Memory Care"
Our family member stays in the memory care part, and they’ve got a really nice garden just outside. There’s also a path for walking, which our family member really enjoys using. We’d tell our friends or family to think about Senior Star for sure.

"Awful Living Conditions and Immense Neglect at Assisted Living Facility"
What a disaster that just keeps going. We moved my mom into the memory care unit and my stepdad into independent living at this place. Some noisy neighbors moved in upstairs from my stepdad. They're so loud that he can't sleep – it's even messing with his blood pressure and other health issues. His tries to solve the noise problem just got him doubtful looks, empty promises, blatant lies, and no improvement. This has been happening for half a year now. I was lied to my face a lot of times, told that they were "investigating" the issue. They weren't. After many months, I called the company's main office in Tulsa. They swore they would sort it out. There was one visit and a few phone calls from them, then...nothing. My mom got scabies two different times in less than six months from the memory care section. They've ignored all my stepdad's reasonable requests to move, even made him feel bad for asking. There are more problems, but I'll stop here. I already reported all of this to local authorities once, and I'm about to do it again. I'm not really one to complain, and neither is my stepdad, but dealing with this place has been awful.

"Nice place, but too big for my mom"
I visited this place while looking for a home for my mom. It's a really nice community, and when we visited, they only had the biggest apartments available. My mom has trouble seeing, and this place was just too big for her to get around easily. The marketing director knew a lot and checked in with us later to see how our search was going. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Parents Thriving in This Wonderful Assisted Living Community"
We have both of my parents living here, and they are very happy. Everything is going great for them. They stay busy with all the activities and really enjoy the food. My mom especially likes not having to plan or cook meals. The staff is fantastic—really nice and caring. The community has different levels of care, starting with independent living, moving to assisted living, and then memory care, which is really impressive.

"Wexford Makes Residents Feel Like Family"
Wexford is amazing in every way! My mom has been there for 6 weeks and she's never been happier! The food is great and everyone is so friendly, both the residents and the staff! They keep us well-informed and make sure my mom is doing well and eating her meals. My family feels very confident in the care my mom is getting! They've really put a "spring back in her step"! They are so welcoming to all the visiting family members!

"Great community with friendly people and welcoming atmosphere"
I recently moved into this community, and so far, I'm really happy with it. My apartment is big, has a full kitchen, and an extra room for my stuff. What I like best about this place is the friendly people. Everyone here has been so nice and made sure I feel welcome and at home. I also enjoy not having to eat alone anymore and always being around great company.

"Senior Star: Clean but Pricey, Elevators Not Ideal"
The Senior Star place was really big and had elevators, which I didn't like. They tried to charge me extra for medicine, showing prices on a chart, and it seemed like a lot. However, it was clean and taken care of.

"Improvements Needed in Management and Activities"
The folks working here are generally friendly and look after the tenants well. However, there's room for better organization in the activities department; there was a case where a resident got left behind at a store. The meals are pretty solid, but kind of monotonous since it's pretty much the same stuff week after week. The biggest issue is probably the management. Honestly whenever I interact with her, she comes across as rather irritated. She often seems dismissive, frequently rolling her eyes and talking down to those working under her. My mom, who lives here, appears to be comfortable overall but has expressed some negative views on administration. It feels like the main focus here is more on profit than quality care.

"Extremely satisfied with the care and cozy environment here."
I’m really happy with this place. It’s very clean, and everyone has been really nice to her. The food is just okay. I think she gets great care because I stay on top of things and call the nurses often. We really liked how cozy it felt, especially in the memory care unit.

"The Staff Knows Everyone by Name"
The staff impressed me because they know everyone's name. The place is super clean, and my Mom enjoys it there. The only thing they could improve is checking the sign-in/sign-out sheet more often. Sometimes when I take my Mom out, they call me to ask where she is.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We thought things would get better, but they got worse. Before we moved in, we were told things would improve for my loved one, but they didn't. We were worried because we had to pay a big fee to join, but they said it wouldn't be a problem. Now they want us to leave because they can't take care of her, and they won't give back the fee. I like the place, but I'm sad we have to leave. The people in charge seem to be the issue, but the nurses and daily staff are good. The place is always clean, and the food is okay. There were some mistakes in the care records, but I think it's because of the bosses.

"Looks Nice, But Poor Care and Communication"
We used the regular living option and the memory help service at this place. I hoped they would care more, or at least knew her better. But they didn't. It was a bad time for us. The food wasn't tasty. Yes, it looks nice and is in a great place. But that's not what really matters. They don't bother to tell you when they decide to increase prices. They would hire someone to look after her, but the next day, that person would be missing.

"Friendly Memory Support with Great Care and Activities"
Our mother lives in the Memory Support Unit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I’m a bit unsure about the activities because when I visit, everyone seems busy, but when my sister visits, the residents are just sitting around. No one gets to stay in bed, and there’s a great companion dog that my mom loves. Sometimes things get misplaced, but the staff quickly fixes these issues. The place is very clean, and everyone is always smiling—even when I’m not looking.

"Welcoming Community Close to Home with Fantastic Amenities and Staff"
This place is super close to my house, but too far north for my sister. They're gonna spruce up the place with new carpets and stuff throughout the year. Right now, they're jazzing up the dining room, and it's gonna be awesome. The staff knows everyone's names, and everyone knows theirs too. There's tons of stuff to do, they even give you rides, they have an indoor pool, different kinds of apartments, and let me tell you, those cookies I had were amazing! One resident summed it up perfectly, saying, "I don't just like it here, I LOVE it here!" And I totally agree.

"Very nice and caring community!"
Overall, things have gone really well at Wexford Place! The community looks very nice, and they do a great job keeping everything clean and well-maintained. We had a bit of trouble at first getting her medication service set up, but it was sorted out in the end. The staff here are wonderful—very caring and friendly—and you can really see that in how they treat the residents. The administration has been great too; they respond quickly to any questions or requests.

"Not Ideal for Mom"
This place didn't seem right for Mom. It was really big, making it hard for her to move around. The rooms and common areas had too much space between them. The furniture looked old, and they'd adapted regular tubs instead of having special walk-in ones.

"Safe Haven: Wexford Place Assisted Living Review"
After talking with A Place for Mom, my sister and I went to four different places. They were all really helpful, but we thought Wexford Place was the best for our mom. Wexford helped us a lot with every step of the move. My sister took mom to see Wexford, and they did everything they could to make her feel welcome. It took some convincing, but she finally agreed that this was the best choice for her. Things started a little rough, but the staff and other people living there helped. I'm grateful that mom seems happy now, and we know she's safe.

"Great place with good activities and respectful staff!"
It's been very good. My father-in-law doesn't join many activities, but it looks like there are a lot of nice things to do. He did attend a luau and thought it was quite fun. Overall, we're very happy with it. They made everything easy. They were understanding and didn't hover. My father-in-law didn’t want much attention, and they managed to make him feel welcome without bothering him. His apartment had new carpet, was freshly painted, and very clean. Wexford Place seemed to offer the best value.

"Great location, welcoming staff, and amenities."
The location is great, with easy access. While it’s somewhat dated, it’s well maintained. They’re currently building a new assisted living and memory care facility on the property. The staff, including housekeeping and dining room staff, was very welcoming. Everyone spoke to me, even the residents. Amenities were plentiful, including an indoor swimming pool. There are no garages, but covered parking is available. The rooms were a little dated and small, with kitchens lacking full-size appliances and no dining area. Washer-dryer hookups are not common and had to be placed on the upper floor for venting.
