"Serious Negligence and Lack of Communication at Assisted Living Home"
My parents didn't get decent care at this assisted living home. Mom had problems with her roommate, and they wouldn't change her room, even though there was someone else in the same situation. Dad, who is blind, got no help with meals and had problems getting to the bathroom. We were told that my parents would share a room, but that didn't happen. Dad needed meds for a procedure, and I was supposed to be informed if their pharmacy could get it. No one called me, even after I made several attempts to find out. I ended up getting the meds from my pharmacy, only to find out that the facility's pharmacy actually got them. They didn't give me back my money for the meds I bought. As soon as I could, I moved my parents out of there. It took me several months to get back some of the rent, and I never got reimbursed for the meds.

"Vaccine Unavailable for Vulnerable, Disappointing and Shameful"
For a long time now, I’ve been working hard to get my sister a Covid vaccine at this place, but no luck. Think about it: a whole place where the people who really need the vaccine the most during these scary times can’t even get it, even though it’s supposed to be easy to find. It’s just wrong and makes me so mad.

"Poor quality care and training at Texas assisted living facility"
I'd never recommend this place to anyone. The worst one is in Fort Worth, Texas. They truly need proper training for this challenging job, in all areas.

"Extremely dissatisfied with rude and negligent staff, poor service."
My wife is dealing with stage 4 breast cancer, along with multiple other surgeries including a hip replacement, spinal stabilization, two vertebrae replacements and is also receiving tough chemo treatment. In addition, she was hospitalized due to blood clots and severe swelling which caused her feet to burst open. I moved her to this facility hoping she could get better and finally come home. In just the first four days at the facility, her breakfast arrived four hours late, her supper was completely missed, and even when she pressed the call button three times over the span of an hour, no help came. A regular tech who was not called for, was the one who ended up aiding her. Besides all this, the staff here are extremely rude and barely even acknowledge your presence. This place is marketed as a high-end care facility but honestly, I don't see any value for the exorbitant [price] per day fee charged before insurance. I pity other patients and their families that trust this place with the care of their loved ones. I can't even begin to imagine the kind of treatment they receive after family visiting hours are over.

"St. Mary’s: Quality Care, Great Value"
This place might not be the newest, but it’s been around for a while and they really know their stuff. I’d tell folks to go here. It’s a really good spot. The food got a thumbs up from my family member. They did an awesome job with keeping the place safe, which mattered a lot. They went the extra mile to make my family member feel welcome. And trust me, he wasn’t always the easiest to handle, but they were super with him. He was on a first-name basis with everyone, and they all knew him too. He had a blast having meals with his buddies from the service, sharing stories and memories. Considering what you get for your money, St. Mary’s did an amazing job.

"Poor Dementia Care Led to Quick Removal of Loved One"
My husband, who has dementia, only stayed there for roughly three days. As expected, he was confused and acted differently at first. It became very clear that the staff there doesn't know how to handle individuals with his condition. After only a few days, they sent him away, which only made him more upset and bewildered. I absolutely would not let anyone I care about stay there, not once, not ever.

"Headline: "Previously Good Facility Declining Under New Management""
This place was good once. But ever since new bosses stepped in a few years back, it's been getting worse. You better be careful with this one. The workers aren't happy and it's making everybody else upset too, which messes with the care they provide.

"Negligent Care Causes Grandmother to Fight for Life Post-Rehabilitation"
My grandma had a short stay at this assisted living center for rehabilitation after a fracture. Unfortunately, she left the place definitely worse than how she was upon arrival. The negligent staff allowed a dangerous infection, cdiff, to fester in her for a full 10 days before they took any action because they were too lax to obtain a test sample. The infection made her extremely weak and led to severe dehydration, due to her consistent diarrhea and lack of appetite, lasting for more than 10 days. Having myself quite a bit of experience in healthcare, I recognized these symptoms and had to step in and demand a specimen sample myself. My pleas for a more proactive approach fell on deaf ears: neither the staff nor the management were sensitive to my concerns. Now, my grandma is back at the hospital in a fight for her life, entirely exhausted by this ordeal.

"Cruel Negligence Caused Grandma's Hospital Readmission!"
My grandmother received terrible care at this assisted living facility. Instead of helping her recover from a fracture, they left her in worse state than before. They failed to recognize and treat an infection for 10 days because the lazy nursing staff did not collect a crucial sample. The resulting infection sapped a lot of my grandma's strength and left her very dehydrated. Despite suffering from diarrhea and refused to eat for days, they looked the other way. I pleaded repeatedly with the staff and managers, but none would return my calls. As a healthcare professional myself, I ended up collecting the crucial sample out of desperation. Currently, my grandma has been readmitted to the hospital and is fighting for her life because of their negligence. They have completely drained her of energy!

"Assisted Living Service Decline: Slow Responses, Neglected Residents"
Service at the assisted living facility is getting worse. In the past four months, there have been a lot of problems with the staff. When residents press their call buttons in the long-term care section, it takes twenty to thirty minutes for someone to come help them. Also, after meals, some residents are left alone in the dining area, and they end up falling asleep in their wheelchairs.

"Limited Room Options; Pleasant Staff and Clean Facilities"
We thought about living here, but they don't have private rooms, only shared ones. That wouldn't have worked for my mother-in-law. The staff was friendly and gave us good information. The place looked clean and new. We didn't need more details because they couldn't offer what we needed.

"Nice Staff, But No Single Room Availability"
We almost chose this place, but they don't have single rooms; you have to share. That wouldn't have suited my mother-in-law. Still, the staff was friendly and helpful. The place looked tidy and new. Since they couldn't offer what we wanted, we didn't need more details.

"Limited Long-Term Options, No Private Rooms, Friendly Staff"
I visited this community considering it for my mom. The facility was nice, and the staff were friendly. However, it's older compared to others. That wasn't the main reason we chose elsewhere. Unfortunately, they lacked a long-term program, and all rooms were shared. My mom wouldn't have liked sharing.
