"Mixed Experience: Food and Activities Need Improvement at The Gables"
The Gables falls short in food quality and social activities. We needed a place for Mom quickly, and since there was no move-in fee, we chose the Gables. If we didn't like it, we could move her elsewhere.

"Cozy Living Arrangements with Great Pricing and Pleasant Outdoor Areas"
I really like how they have set up the facility with 8 residents in each house. It makes it easier to get to know everyone in the house. Their pricing is straightforward too; you pay the same amount every month, and it covers everything. When it comes to activities, they have an outdoor gazebo and barbecue area. I think they could use these areas more often for activities.

"Assisted Living Facility Excels with Personalized Care and Responsive Improvements"
I like the idea of having one house with eight residents and one staff member in each. There's a large open area for walking and exercise, which I appreciate. Initially, we had some care issues, but they're receiving extra training now. It's good they acknowledged and are fixing the problem. Overall, the care has been good.

"Communication and Staffing Concerns at The Gables Assisted Living"
The Gables could improve how they talk with families about their loved ones. They're short-staffed, so each little area has its own nurses. There's about 1 nurse for every 8 patients. But sometimes when we visit, the nurse is just on her phone. We wish they'd be more professional. We also wish they'd give us daily or weekly sheets showing what our loved ones have been doing.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
Our family visited the assisted living community in person, and we had a positive experience. However, because of our loved one's health issues, we didn't feel it was the right fit, especially since they didn't offer memory care at the time.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The kitchen at the place wasn't great. The place was clean enough. During the 6 months my loved one stayed there, it got better. We think this happened because the people taking care of things changed. Some were better at cleaning than others, so the care wasn't always the same. Some of the workers were super nice and paid a lot of attention, but some didn't seem as interested. Because of my loved one's condition, they couldn't do many activities with her. Even with all that, the place was worth the money because the staff who cared, really went above and beyond for my mom.

"Poor Care and Lost Items at Assisted Living Facility"
I'm really upset with how my mom was cared for at this place. She was there for half a year and ended up losing two of her pricey hearing aids, her false teeth, and her glasses. They promised to put a phone in her room but never did it. In the end, she ended up in the hospital because she was extremely dehydrated. How does that even happen in a house with only 5 people living there?

"Decided Against Misleading Assisted Living Facility for Loved One"
I must admit, the assisted living facility I toured looked nice, but the furniture definitely isn't suitable for senior citizens. I almost chose to register my relative here, but then realized that the marketing staff were simply exaggerating the truth to make a sale. The woman providing the tour lacked professionalism, even badmouthing other employees, who seemed kind and dedicated. The owner, introduced as a deal clincher, might seem okay, but it's clear he only cares about the profits. I was shocked to find the front office in an unsightly condition; not an ideal first impression. This place lacked a dedicated dementia unit, and seemed ill-prepared for residents with memory issues, which made me uncomfortable given my relative's condition. An insider told me that hot water for showers was often unavailable, and essential supplies were missing, even though everything was supposed to be covered under a single fee. Apparently, complaints about staff and unresolved maintenance issues were common. In hindsight, the place was far from the idyllic image it initially portrayed. I'm glad I dodged a bullet and didn’t get fooled by their sweet talk. I appreciate the effort, but it’s a hard pass from me.

"Great care, reasonable cost, and caring staff—worth a visit."
I moved my husband to Gables at Brady Circle on October 18th, and I’m very pleased with the excellent care he’s getting. The cost is reasonable and covers everything. He has a private room with a TV and phone. The facility has individual homes with up to eight people, and the staff-to-resident ratio is better than in more expensive places. There’s also a separate community center with a small pool, gym equipment, and a pool table. The staff is very caring! It’s definitely worth a visit. The third home will open around Christmas.

"Excellent Care and Value at Gables Assisted Living Facility"
My husband moved into Gables at Brady Circle in October. I'm really impressed with the great care he's getting. The cost covers everything and is very reasonable. He has his own room with a TV and phone. The homes are small, with up to eight people each, and there are plenty of staff for everyone, better than more expensive places. They have a separate community center with a small pool, gym equipment, and a pool table. The staff is so caring! It's definitely worth a visit. They're opening a third home around Christmas.

"Pleased with Care, Moved for Higher Level Care Needs"
We were happy with how well they cared for my uncle during his stay. However, we had to move him to a place with more care due to health reasons. He liked it there, the staff were friendly, and I visit them sometimes. The place was clean and well-maintained.

"Mixed Impressions - Assisted living tour had ups and downs."
When I visited this place, I expected more. The tour guide hinted at a pool and gym, but they were still under construction. The building layout didn’t impress me either. Residents had to step outside to reach the activity area, and there was a passcode to enter. In the afternoon, I noticed some residents in pajamas.
