"Comfortable and well-equipped facility in St. Joseph, MO."

Vintage Gardens is a nice place with excellent amenities. It was chosen because it's the best facility in St. Joseph, MO within his budget.

"Unfair Billing and No Refunds at Vintage Gardens Senior Living"

We switched my mom from Vintage Gardens to hospice in late June. But, despite her not being there, they billed us for July, as they charge a month early, and then again for August, even after she'd left. I was told it might take a month to get our money back after many phone calls with them. Now, they don't answer my calls and don't respond to my messages. I had to visit them 15 days ago to actually talk to someone, who then promised me a refund within 5 days. But, still no money back after 15 days. Don't let this place have your bank details, they happily misuse your family's money. Since then, my mom has passed away. But I am still dealing with this company who took her money unfairly. We moved her to a new care center that gave us our refund in just 4 days. Vintage Gardens asked us to wait 90 days for a refund. There are better options for your family.

"Vintage Gardens: Mixed care, no refund, not recommended."

My mom lived at Vintage Gardens, owned by Sonida Senior Living, in St. Joseph, Missouri for 2 years. The care was okay, but nothing special. They overcharged her account. Vintage supposedly asked for a refund from their corporate office, but it’s been more than 30 days, and we haven’t received anything. Corporate won’t return my calls or emails. I don’t recommend this place for loved ones.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"

This is what my family members think after visiting often.

"Family-friendly staff, billing issues with insurance overshadow great care."

We wish for more activities. There's been an issue with my mother-in-law's insurance. We paid monthly, and Vintage Gardens handled reimbursement. We asked if we could pay in advance, but timing caused duplicate charges. Vintage Gardens assists us, but the corporate side has issues. Staff is helpful, responsive to our needs.

"Lovely Assisted Living with Tasty Food"

I believe they need more staff to handle doors, call buttons, and phones. Overall, it's a nice place with great food.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living"

Our mom stayed at Vintage Gardens Assisted Living for nearly 2 years. The staff was friendly, caring, and made us feel like family. The facility was bright and inviting, and our experience was positive.

"High price, small studio; chose different community."

I visited for my Mom, but it seemed secluded. Lots of views. The price was too high for us. The biggest studio felt cramped even without furniture. The person I talked to knew their stuff. The place felt fancy. We found a better fit elsewhere.

"Victorian Mansion-Like Assisted Living; Fantastic Care, Daily Updates Needed"

This place is awesome! It looks like a fancy old house and Dad's doing great. It's like living in a historic mansion, which we love. It'd be even better if they gave daily updates on how residents are doing.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living: A Top Choice for Families"

The workers are really helpful, especially since our mom's memory got worse. The place feels more like a fancy hotel than a care center, super clean and cozy. They always pay close attention and try hard to understand what families are going through. One small problem is the phone system being a bit complicated because of the building. Overall, I totally suggest it as a good choice for families.

"Caring and Fun Assisted Living: Perfect for Mom's Happiness!"

This place is awesome. The workers are really nice and always ready to help with anything my mom needs. The food is super tasty, and they have lots of different meals to choose from. They also have activities for people who want to join in and have fun. It's a great deal for the amazing care they give, and I totally recommend it to others who need good care.

"Vintage Gardens: Clean and Recommended, but Limited Activities"

Mom is doing alright at Vintage Gardens. The place is really clean, and I'd suggest it. But they don't have many activities she's interested in. I can't say much about the food since I haven't tasted it, but Mom hasn't grumbled about it.

"Avoid This Place! Overcharged For Services Not Provided"

Stay clear people! They charged us way too much for services they never even delivered. Don't fool yourself, this place is no good. The people who run it are dishonest. Stay far away from here!

"Great facility with friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere"

We've only been at Vintage Gardens Assisted Living II for a month, but it’s been great. My mom is adjusting well from leaving her own home and is happy with her new situation. The food is tasty, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We feel she’s safe and well cared for here. The place is nice with a cheerful, peaceful atmosphere. We're lucky to have found this facility.
