"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short; Unfulfilled Promises and Food Issues"
Looking for a safe place for a friend, I checked out Brookdale and was told everything we needed would be provided. Our friend wanted to attend Mass regularly, but despite assurances, there was only one service a month. It took a lot of asking to get her emergency alert, and the food was often not what was promised, even reaching the point of serving raw food. After six weeks, we decided it was better for her to be at home with some help. Overall, I can't say I recommend this place.

"Good experience, recommended for friendly and professional staff"
My loved one had a very good experience at Brookdale Biloxi. Housekeeping was good, though trash bags were provided by residents. Communication with family was excellent. Staff was friendly and professional. Move-in process was easy with choices available.

"Lacking Warmth: Assisted Living Felt Disorganized, Not Family-Oriented"
The place was tidy and the workers were friendly. But it seemed messy and didn't have that close-knit feeling we wanted.

"Broodkale Biloxi: Exceptional Care with Billing Concerns"
The assisted living facility is lovely and well-maintained. The new director is friendly, and the staff are exceptional. They make it easier for my mom, who has dementia, to get out of bed and eat. Overall, they're very supportive and encouraging. The only issue is their billing system. We received a high bill, and it took a while to resolve with management. A detailed monthly breakdown would be helpful.

"Comfortable Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
Brookdale Biloxi is a really nice place. All the staff were helpful and told us lots during the tour. The rooms were big. It looked like they had enough staff, which was good to see. They were very careful with covid rules, everyone had to get tested before they could come in. The only downsides were that it was a bit expensive and there didn't seem to be many activities happening, a lot of people were just sitting around. But overall, it was a great tour and I would tell others about it.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Experience"
My mom stayed in the memory care unit. The staff seemed unprepared. They didn't know much about handling memory care. I thought they would understand dementia better. They promised a phone in her room, but it never came. They said signing early would lock in prices, but they still tried to charge us before she moved in. When she passed, they owed us money but shorted us $150. They won't explain. When she arrived, her dementia was okay, but the rooms lacked a way to call for help. She had to yell to get attention. They still charged us when she wasn't there. I wouldn't suggest this place to others.

"Absolutely Amazing Experience"
I can't say enough good things about Brookdale. They are so accommodating and treat their residents with a lot of respect. I was really impressed because they remembered the residents' first names. I know my mom will feel comfortable here because it's a relaxed place where they get the seniors involved and make it feel like home. The staff have been lifesavers during this time. Thank you, Brookdale, for making this transition easy for my mom and me.

"Inadequate Staffing and Care at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff at this assisted living facility was friendly. However, we were unsatisfied because they did not provide protection to prevent possible injuries. My wife and I are no longer living in this community. The staff were incapable of helping her with meals. It seemed like they didn't always have time for our specific needs regarding my wife's care. Although the community was maintained neatly and the staff was exceptional, they certainly require more personnel. We wouldn't suggest other families consider this place. The special care that we were paying for wasn't provided to my wife.

"Great Staff but Facility Seems Old"
We visited this place and it's pretty nice, but you can tell it's been lived in for a while. The people working there were really nice and seemed happy. It's a good place, but it's not for us.

"Staff and Administration Need to Step Up"
This place could work harder on making their staff better. My family member didn't get the cleanliness they deserved from the helpers there. The people running this facility also need to communicate better and understand what's happening with the residents here.

"Brookdale Biloxi: Rough Patch During Redevelopment!"
When we visited Brookdale Biloxi, it wasn't very tidy. They were smack dab in the middle of sprucing things up. As we toured around, we noticed a nasty smell and it felt like a oven. The workers, though, were super nice and really worked hard to answer all our questions. It might be a great place when they finish all the revamping.

"Nice rooms and helpful staff, but food needs improvement"
One time my dad fell and couldn't work the lock on his door. We called for help, but no one came. I talked to the director, and it didn't happen again. The food isn't very good, but I think they're trying to fix it. Besides that, my dad is happy there. I like how the rooms are set up. They're really nice and feel like apartments. She was wonderful to work with and very helpful.

"Decent Care Service with Room for Improvement"
This place costs a lot and I'm not sure it's worth it. What really bothers me is how clean they keep my family member's room, especially the bathroom. His toilet keeps overflowing, which is a mess. However, he's receiving good care overall. The staff shows up immediately to clean him up and everyone is really nice. I can't say much about their activities because my relative doesn't join in.
