My wife stayed there for 3 nights. It cost a lot. Sadly, she passed away. Brookdale didn't give any money back. It's expensive for 2 weeks. Others should ask for a list of charges upfront. No refund, even after she died.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Meals were really great! The ladies who took care of my mom were awesome. But the people in charge are not as good. They still have an unpaid bill on their website for money we don't owe. I'm glad we didn't set up automatic payments from her bank account. They even charged her for the month after she died.

My brothers and I really like Brookdale. We can't imagine life without it. We feel so relieved and calm knowing they are safe and their needs are well taken care of. It's really important to understand the costs and care limits no matter where you choose to go.

The food at this place is really bad. They keep changing chefs since my mom arrived. We've had problems like food being undercooked or overcooked, not having what's on the menu, and running out of food before everyone gets served. Plus, my mom is diabetic, and most of the options are full of carbs and not sugar-free.

I’m not happy with the difference between what they said the place could do and what actually happened. Don’t send anyone like him there unless they train their staff better. It’s a great place for people who can walk and do most things by themselves every day. But don’t suggest this place for someone who needs help with everything in their daily life.

"A Caring Community for Seniors"
Brookdale Meridian is a nice place. The people who work there are all friendly, and when we visit our family member, they remember who we are and who we're there to see. They even invited us to join our loved one for a meal on her first day there. The food was good for her, although a bit plain for us, but we understand it's because of different diets people have. The meal was nicely made and looked good too. Right now, the activities on the memory care side seem a little limited, but the assisted living side seems to have more going on. We think families should go check out Brookdale Meridian to see if it's right for their loved ones' needs. Our experience so far has been good overall.

"Warm Staff and Good Food at Assisted Living"
I’m not too keen on the person in charge right now, but I really like everyone else. They’re super nice to my mom and genuinely care about her. The rooms are a good size, and the food’s tasty with lots of different things to eat. I’d tell other people to consider this place for sure.

Don't choose this place. The cost changes after you sign. Food choices are terrible. The activities they promise aren't what they do. They're bad at communicating about medicine, often making multiple orders for the same meds in one week. I wouldn't suggest this community.

Brookdale has done a great job caring for my father. He needs more care now, but the staff is doing their best to help him while I look for a place that can meet his needs better.

The food isn't usually hot; today's meat patty was cold. No gravy and mushrooms as promised. Found a roach in my apartment three weeks ago and another one today.

"Pleased with Care, Minor Renovation Concerns"
My mother-in-law started living at Brookdale Meridian over a month ago, and things are looking up. She’s still adjusting to the new place, but everything’s going pretty well. The only downside is they’re fixing up the place, so there’s carpet missing in spots and the eating area’s a bit of a mess. But other than that, the staff are amazing. They’re always ready to help and they really look after everyone living there. Mom’s even joined in on some of the fun stuff they do. We had lunch with her there, and while it’s not like eating out at a fancy restaurant, the food’s pretty decent. I’d for sure tell people to consider moving in here.

My aunt likes Brookdale Meridian. She's waiting for a one-bedroom to open up. Other than that, everything is fine. She has no complaints about this place.
