"Caring Assisted Living with Wonderful Staff"
My mother-in-law has been at Alamance House for four years. During that time, she's been well cared for, made new friends, and had her medical needs attended to by on-site doctors and medication delivery. The staff has been wonderful, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

"Unsafe, understaffed facility with terrible management."
This location is dangerous. There's not enough staff and the management is just terrible. (I'm referring to the Memory Care unit but I doubt the Assisted Living side is any better.)

"Extreme Neglect and Poor Communication Roil Assisted Living Facility"
My mom was stuck in this place for a month... I got her out as quickly as possible. The very first night, she fell and wound up in the emergency room... And guess what? Nobody gave me a call to inform me, not even the following day. Every time I'd come visit, her room was repulsive - there'd be poop on her floor and dirty undergarments left in a trash bag on the ground. They totally ignored her pleas to use the washroom, even failed egregiously at simple tasks like making her bed. Plus, the staff would carelessly leave cigarette butts on the nightstand next to her bed. The list of these horrors just continues... I reached out to the corporate team, leaving a whopping 7 messages for both the executive and regional directors, but guess what? No one has bothered to return my call, ever.

"Memory Care Layout Needs Improvement"
The staff were really nice. I didn't like how far the memory care residents were from everything else. We decided on a different place that fit our needs better.

"Chose another place; memory care location too far apart."
The staff here were really nice. I didn't like how the memory care folks were far away down a long hallway. We found another place that fit better for us.

"Inadequate Staff and Services; Can't Recommend This Facility"
We are pretty upset with this place. They don't have enough staff most of the time and they don't seem to care about the needs of the people who live there. They don't accommodate my family member who needs a special diet. The place is clean enough, but the medical care isn’t up to standard. My family member doesn't get her medicine on time. They allow electric wheelchairs, but their transportation doesn't work for people in wheelchairs.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Expectations"
I wasn't very impressed with the assisted living facility. They didn't offer private rooms, and during the lobby tour, I felt ignored. The room setup with curtains in between wasn't to my liking. Overall, considering the cost, I expected better for my mom.

"Disappointed with Assisted Living Facilities"
I wasn't very impressed with them. They didn't have a private room available. During the tour, I didn't like the lack of attention in the lobby. The rooms were set up with curtains drawn between, which I didn't like. Overall, I wasn't pleased with the accommodations. Considering the cost, I expected more for my mom.

"Assisted Living Lacking Outdoor Space, Feels Confined"
It was okay, but what bothered me was there was no outside area. It was really small and my mom loves being outside, so I didn't like that they only had a tiny courtyard. It felt like we were stuck inside, and I think anyone would start feeling stir-crazy being indoors all the time.

"Limited Outdoor Area Hinders Enjoyment"
It was okay, but what bothered me was there wasn't any outside area. The courtyard was tiny, and my mom loves being outside. It felt confining, like you're stuck indoors. I think anyone would feel a bit stir-crazy always being inside.
