"Highly Recommended: Beautiful Home with Great Care and Food"
I picked Avendelle for two main reasons: it was recommended by two doctors, and it's a beautiful place. There were a few small issues the first week after my mom moved in, but they were quickly resolved. The staff is very kind, attentive, and friendly, and they work hard to take care of the residents. My only suggestion is that they might need a bit more training, as I sometimes had to show them things they should already know. Family members get a code to the front door, so we can visit anytime. It doesn't feel like a big institution, and we can enjoy quality family time together. The food is fantastic sometimes even I find myself drooling when I see what they’re cooking! They make everything from scratch and use leftovers creatively, like making soups. They pay attention to what the residents like or dislike, such as giving my mom romaine lettuce instead of iceberg. There are lots of activities, like entertainers, arts and crafts, ice cream drives, and a fitness trainer. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of flowers and rosemary. They don’t do laundry on-site but send it out daily, so everything stays clean. I love it here and recommend it to anyone.

"Clean and Cozy Assisted Living with Limited Activities"
My sister visited this community and found it pleasant. The tour guide was nice and showed her around, including the bedrooms, dining room, and activities center. The only downside was the limited activities available. The place was clean and well-organized.
