I’m happy with how things are going now. I’d suggest other families consider it too.

"Caring Staff at Pleasant Assisted Living Community"
My mother-in-law stayed there for 9 months and it was nice. The people working in the place where they help with memory were really kind and caring.

"Unresolved Issues Persist"
Review Rewrite: We’ve been frustrated and upset ever since my parents moved to that assisted living facility three years ago. They’ve faced issues like not being taken out of bed all day and my dad’s diaper not being changed for three hours after ringing the buzzer. And can you believe it? He hasn’t had a shower in three weeks because they claim he doesn’t smell! We’ve complained to the manager, but the problems persist.

"Mixed Feelings, Caring Staff: Brighton Gardens of Charlotte Review"
I would tell others about Brighton Gardens of Charlotte. I haven't tried the food myself, but my loved one thinks it could be better. He might feel that way because they don't have some things he likes. The Director cares and always keeps families updated. I've needed to ask management questions a couple of times, and they've always answered me professionally and quickly.

"Friendly and Helpful Assisted Living Experience"
My family and I had a good experience at Brighton Gardens of Charlotte. The staff there are really nice, caring, and always ready to help. Everyone is friendly. They provide meals and activities to help residents socialize. We suggest visiting a few communities to find the right fit for your loved one and family.

"Inconsistent Care, Requires Advocacy for Loved Ones"
The folks there are friendly, but getting them to really fix things or take care of stuff has been tough. If your family member is there, you gotta speak up for them a lot.

"A Place for Mom Review Summary"
The staff at the assisted living facility didn’t meet our expectations. Some employees, like maintenance and front desk staff, were helpful. However, there were issues. Food shortages occurred about once a week, and sometimes the chef didn’t show up. The community wasn’t wheelchair-friendly, especially in the bathrooms. Mailboxes were too high for wheelchair users. My loved one didn’t always receive promised care, like showers, clean sheets, or laundry. Staff response times to call buttons were slow. The caregiver-to-resident ratio was 8 to 1, but they also handled meal service and laundry. Communication with the nurse was difficult. The community is better suited for mobile residents or couples who can check on each other. Despite the challenges, A Place for Mom provided good check-ins every 2 hours, even at night. I’d use their service again!

"Unsatisfactory Care Prompts Early Departure from Assisted Living Facility"
Seriously, if the staff had just stuck to the care plan, we could've trusted them to keep her there. We tried it out, moved our mom in, and had to take her back home just a month later. They almost never remembered to charge her hearing aids or even put them in her ears. Plus, she didn't always smell clean, which was a big red flag. Even though they had a menu, the food they listed often wasn't available. A lot of the folks taking care of the residents weren't permanent staff. They totally dropped the ball on following the care plan. They'd leave dirty gloves scattered around her room and even a bloody bandage once. My wife had to be there every day, sometimes going twice, just to make sure Mom was getting the care she needed. More often than not, my wife was the one cleaning her up and washing her hair. There were three times when no one even bothered to get her to meals. And on top of everything else, she fell out of bed four times.

"Comfortable and accommodating tour; minor family considerations to address."
The tour was nice and welcoming. It seemed to have everything we needed, but we have a few family things to think about.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
My family member stayed here for a long time and it began nicely. But later on, they wanted to add more care which cost a lot more money. When I talked to them about why it was going up, I didn't like how they handled it. The manager mentioned they might change that rule, but I don't know if they did.

"Safe and Comfortable, But Pricey"
Our loved one always tells us how comfortable she is at Brighton Gardens. She feels well taken care of and safe. The meals and dining service could be improved, especially with the staff’s communication. Sometimes, the staff and residents don’t communicate well about the meals they like and don’t like. It is very expensive, but for our loved one to feel safe and well taken care of, it is worth every penny.

"Helpful staff and professional service, room setup was a concern"
The staff at Brighton Gardens were really helpful, even though I showed up when they weren’t expecting me. They were flexible and took their time showing me around without seeming annoyed. I was really impressed by their professionalism. The only reason we didn’t choose this place was because of the room setup. I’d definitely recommend this facility based on what I saw.

"Caring and Supportive Assisted Living for Your Loved Ones"
If you know someone needing assisted living, I recommend this place. They're caring. If your loved one needs more care than usual, they might need extra help here. They have nurses, but it's not like a hospital.

"Safety Concerns at Brighton Gardens of Charlotte"
Brighton Gardens of Charlotte seemed pretty old. One thing that bothered me right away was the huge staircase right as you walked in. It made me worry about my family members potentially falling down.
