"Positive Start at Charter Assisted Living"
My sister hasn’t lived at Charter for long, but it’s been good so far. The last place she stayed was okay, but the costs kept going up after the first year, and it was getting too expensive for her.

"Overall Positive Experience with Room for Improvement"
I thought it was a pretty good experience overall, considering the circumstances. The people living there were always kept clean. The main problem was things going missing, especially with laundry, but I understand that's common in memory care. I wish there were more fresh and healthy choices. I know it's institutional food, but sometimes it felt like there were too many fried foods.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Care, Hygiene, and Safety"
This place has a lot of issues. Not enough staff, and the ones they have aren't trained well for Alzheimer's residents. My kids had to be there all the time to look after their dad because the staff didn't. They only seem to care when someone is visiting for a tour. They put on a show with fancy meals and music, but on regular days, it's just cheap stuff. They only clean up when they know there's an inspection coming. They need surprise visits. Plus, one night, an Alzheimer's patient managed to get outside alone even though the doors are supposed to be locked. They didn't tell anyone about it, but my kids saw everything. This place has really low ratings. I think it's in the 30's. Also, they sometimes forget to give my husband his meds, or they give them to him really late at night. It's a terrible place!

"Horrible Assisted Living Experience; Better Options Recommended"
Everything went wrong at this crumbling care home. They mixed up my mom's papers with someone else's and gave wrong information. My mom changed completely in the one month she stayed there. Her health got really worse. She lost 22 pounds in just a month and could hardly move around. But after moving her to a better place, she improved quickly. In two weeks, she gained 10 pounds, began moving like she was much younger, and was much happier. I don't know what they did to her in there. Despite doing such a bad job, the staff doesn't seem to care. This includes the person at the top. She'll probably keep doing the same lousy job elsewhere. You really should look at other places.

"Feels Like Home with Caring Staff"
This place is in a really nice part of town. It feels just like home with a cozy front porch and lots of different spots inside where you can hang out and do stuff. The person we talked to seemed to know almost everyone living there. They answered all our questions. We had a great time looking around!

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Everyone was really nice. The main caregiver was good and I liked her. The community was kind of like Sunrise in some ways. Our experience was during the pandemic and only for a short time.

"Beautiful Assisted Living with Questions for Fit"
It wasn't the best fit for my family member, but if your loved one is more independent, it might be suitable. The exterior is beautiful. I recommend asking extra questions to determine if it's a good match.

"Mixed Experience at The Social Assisted Living"
I thought The Social was mostly really good. It's in a nice area, the staff to patient ratio was good because it's a smaller community, and the activities director did a good job encouraging my mom to join in. The staff here were always friendly and helpful too. The only problem we had was near the end when we had some communication issues. No one except one nurse offered condolences or next steps, which was disappointing to us.

"Room Satisfaction, Office Communication Lacking"
We picked The Social at Cotswold 'cause we liked the virtual tour and what they offer. Plus, the salesperson was great. My dad's room is quite spacious, perfect for one person; he's in a private one bedroom. Lately, we've had a bunch of problems with the business office. I reckon they need to work on their communication skills.

"Assisted Living Facility Ensures Safety During COVID-19 Crisis"
I'm really pleased with how the facility handled the COVID-19 outbreak. I feel like my mom is well-protected. Whenever I've had worries, they've dealt with them right away. Thanks for looking after her so well.

"Friendly Staff, Great Care A Year of Happy Living"
I've been here for a year now. I really like the staff. All the CNAs are nice, but my favorite is [name removed]. I also appreciate [name removed] at the front desk. Another CNA I like is [name removed]. They are all very helpful and caring.
