"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

We aren't very happy with the place. The prices went up a lot. They don't give discounts on those increases. Also, the food quality has gone down since they arrived. I've had problems with room cleaning too, but it's gotten a bit better. I think they mess with the prices, and the food and cleaning aren't as good as they claim.

"Unsatisfactory Care and Unpleasant Environment at Assisted Living Facility"

We were let down by the poor food quality at the assisted living facility. The head nurse seemed uninvolved and was unaware of my mom's fall that resulted in broken ribs. We had to constantly seek out the staff and director for better care and to get our questions answered. A terrible smell of urine filled the first floor hallway near the cafeteria, coming from a lady's room who sat at her computer with her door open every day. I was never at ease during her stay there. After only 7 months, the rent was hiked up by a significant amount, forcing us to hastily relocate her. To add to the stress, Brookdale kept sending me a bill for a charge that had been wrongly applied and subsequently removed from her account. The entire experience was incredibly stressful.

"Disappointing Dietary Options and Nursing Staff Follow-Through"

The food choices here have been a letdown, especially for my diabetic loved one. We were promised a variety of meals, but that hasn't been the case. The nurses, particularly the director, haven't met our expectations either. We've had some issues with them not following through on our concerns. It's not living up to what we expected, but we're trying to make the most of it.

"Lack of Director Responsiveness Affects Facility Experience"

My family member has lived here for some time. The people at the front desk, those who give medicine, help with daily tasks, cook, and clean are nice. Even the nurses try hard. But the new director who started in May 2022 isn't very helpful. He doesn't respond well to the needs of residents or their families. It seems like he won't take action if there's a problem. He ignores emails and doesn't follow through when talked to in person. If something's wrong, he won't do much about it.

"Great value and caring staff make this place worth considering"

I would recommend this place for sure. It’s a good deal for the money. I felt that my loved one was safe and well looked after by the staff. They were also great at keeping us updated and answering any questions we had.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

It was tough to reach them sometimes, so talking could be better. But the workers were always nice. Because of COVID, no fun stuff was happening, but it was worth the money. Our only worry was the lack of security.

I'd recommend checking out this community. Sometimes no one answers the front desk calls, but they are busy. They helped our family and loved one transition quickly.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Mixed Experience Amid Pandemic Changes"

Since the pandemic began, there have been some changes in staff at the assisted living facility. As far as I know, it's the best option available locally. Some of the original medical technicians have left, and the new ones are still learning. There's been a change in the kitchen manager, affecting the quality of food. Residents are now eating in their rooms because of the pandemic.

The cost here was similar to other places nearby. They had many activities available. The dining area looked great, and the decor was nice. It seemed like a wonderful place.

"Poor Communication and Care Standards at Assisted Living Facility"

I called on the weekend, but couldn't reach anyone. Left a message last week, never got a call back. Now I have to follow up. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Because of my loved one's memory care needs, I can't move them. Moving would disrupt them completely. Every week when I visit, my loved one wears the same clothes. I asked the staff to shower and change them, but it didn't get done.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

I think the price is fair. Wait times for care are a problem. It's okay if you're independent, but if you need more help, there are issues. The staff is good, but there aren't enough of them, so waits are longer. I used to have extra help for my mom, but quarantine stopped that. The community layout is nice, but the food isn't great.

"Great staff, happy resident, and good communication with family."

My sister-in-law is doing great here. The staff has been amazing, helping her adjust well. She’s starting to leave her apartment more and loves eating in the dining room. She’s really happy with the menu. Even though we’re far away, they keep us updated and are very accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
