"Great Community!"
When we first visited this community, we noticed its strong security and proximity to our loved one's former home. Although she doesn't join all the activities, she really enjoys the bible studies. Due to COVID, we're unsure about current activities for residents. The community now allows porch visits, which is great for connecting with families. Our loved one finds the food a bit bland and sometimes overcooked, but overall, we're very happy here!

"Warm and inviting with good food and happy residents"
This place was really nice and felt warm and inviting. They offer a good range of meals on their menu for every meal. The residents seemed happy and busy and all had Mobile Alert buttons for safety. The rooms were a bit small, but each had its own bathroom with a big shower.

"Clean but needs more space and fewer extra costs"
The community is clean, but I feel like I need a bigger place for my mom. I also don't like paying extra for things she doesn’t really need right now.

"Fantastic Care at Sterling House"
Overall, I think Sterling House of Hickory has done a great job. Even though I can't visit often, the staff keeps me informed about my loved one. They're always ready to find her and put her on the phone when I call. Their kindness has really helped me feel better. No complaints at all!

"Caring Staff and Clean Environment Make Mom's Transition Smooth"
Our mom started living at Sterling House in Hickory two months back. She's settling in well, largely because the staff is kind and genuinely caring. They're also very dedicated to their work. No matter when I visit, the place is clean and welcoming. They've actively engaged her in activities, and she's adjusting better than we expected. Great job, Sterling House staff.
