"Location Matters, But Staffing Needs Improvement"
The assisted living facility needs better management supervision and adequately trained staff. It’s unacceptable! I chose this community because of its location.

"Misleading Corporate Practices at Assisted Living Facility"
Corporate is really bad. They don't care about the residents at all. They send mean letters to residents, even when bills are paid. It's upsetting. After we moved our loved one out, they still called her about unpaid bills. They never talk to us directly, just send letters. The sales pitch is misleading.

My mom has been doing great since she moved here. They take good care of her and meet all her needs. The people who work here are really nice.

"Friendly Atmosphere, but Too Big for Our Preference"
I visited Brookdale Peachtree, and it was good. The place was nice, and the folks were friendly. However, we picked a different community because Brookdale was too large. We preferred something smaller and cozier, more like home.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living: Clean and friendly, but food mediocre"
The people who work there are nice, and the place is kept tidy. But the food isn't all that great.

"Unmet Promises and Disappointing Service at Assisted Living Facility"
The facility's staff was downright scanty. Getting medications organized and accurate turned into a time-consuming task. On the bright side, they did put effort into catering to dietary requirements. However, the promised twice-weekly laundry service was neglected, with dirty, stinky clothes accumulating in the room for days even after a complaint was lodged. One major hazard is that the pull cords are out of reach. My mother ended up with bruises from being yanked up too abruptly. Despite promises that my mother would be checked every hour, I observed no such thing during the four hours I sat with her. They billed extra for the aid she needed, such as two staff members to assist with transfers, which was hardly ever done in my presence. The staff harbored conflicting information about policies in the recently overhauled administration, making things even more aggravating. All employees weren't operating under the same guidelines.

"Unsatisfactory care and severe lack of communication at Brookdale Peachtree "
My father-in-law's brief stay at Brookdale Peachtree Memory Care was heartbreakingly poor. His deteriorating condition made his care challenging, but what really let us down was the absence of clear communication. Dealing with his worsening Alzheimer's without meaningful support from the facility was very distressing. We only got calls about alarming developments when it was almost too late. He was left ignored, unwashed, and starving for a whole week before we were alerted. When we finally got there, he had become too weak to even sit up. Certainly, we understand that if a patient refuses care or food, it can’t be forced on them. But at least, a timely call to the family or to his in-house doctor could have made a difference. They are supposedly trained in handling Alzheimer's patients. But, the resident doctor made no effort to inform us about his deteriorating health, neither did the facility's administrative staff until he was on death's door. The hospital enlightened us more about Alzheimer's stages than the place that claims to specialize in the illness. We resolved not to bring him back there. He’s now better cared for in a new facility where open communication is practiced and where the doctors are much better-versed in understanding Alzheimer's and transparently discussing it with family members. I strongly discourage anyone from considering Brookdale Peachtree. While the facility aesthetically appeals and seems tidy, this disguises the grave inadequacies in care and communication. While some staff were friendly, others displayed a lackluster attitude and exhibited no interest in offering assistance.

"Mixed Experience"
Our time at Brookdale Peachtree has been a bit of a mix. The caregivers here are all great—friendly, professional, and hardworking. But unfortunately, the place feels understaffed for the number of residents, and that affects the quality of care.

"Clean and nice, but need cheaper options."
This place was super clean and we kinda liked it—it only has studio rooms, but it was the best we've seen. But we really need something more affordable.

"Assisted Living Center Offers Activities Mom Would Enjoy"
My mom might like this place. They have fun stuff to do. They accept Medicaid after one year of paying on your own.

"Visited Statesville House and Clare Bridge"
I visited both Statesville House and Clare Bridge. Dave would have been a good fit at Statesville House, but he’s not quite ready for the level of care provided at Clare Bridge. The only downside was the location—I’d have to drive him to the doctor myself. Beautiful, clean, and reasonably priced, but not convenient for managing his doctor visits.

"Nice Assisted Living Facility with Quiet Afternoons"
This place is pretty nice. It's like a locked facility, but they have stuff to do. When I went in the afternoon, everyone was either asleep or just sitting around.
